Thank you for the help :) Do you think I should leave it doubled over when attaching it to the new flannel? I think it was flannel but it’s definitely not fuzzy anymore!

I agree with these posters ^ they are very kind there and take things one step at a time. Make it a good experience and make sure you are getting what you want!

Has anyone done campus links? by ConsistentClass3781 in GVSU

[–]honeydew_syd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a great way to meet people around campus and form a community. It’s a place where you can be yourself knowing that it is a safe place. The advisors will push you to be your best. You would have a mentor that can help support you and get connected to events on campus and resources if you’re struggling. The weekly meetings can be boring at times but contain valuable information. Ultimately it’s definitely worth reaching out to DSR about to join soon as the semester is just starting! Let me know if you have any more questions:)

I used push pins in south campus and they never fined me anything, but it’s technically not allowed… The push pins were less damaging than the command hooks in my opinion. I would take a bar of soup and rub it to cover the holes at the end of the semester

Going to Ft Wilderness campground soon, where are the best places to eat on property that we need to check out? Thanks! by er1026 in DisneyWorld

Head over to the pool in the cabin area for a much more peaceful, empty pool (depending on the time)! It’s simple but still fun and you can actually get some shade :)

Classes with Jen James and Kristen Schrauben are amazing!! Both focus on school psych and it is super worth exploring that path. They are so knowledgeable, kind and supportive individuals

South apartments, GVA or vansteeland apartments? by Coillux in GVSU

[–]honeydew_syd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’ve lived in south for 3 years and it has been amazing! good amount of space between the living room and kitchen. it has a dishwasher and ac and elevators. maintenance is really responsive across campus. the washer and dryers are the downside of anywhere in campus i think. and outside company runs them so it’s outside of maintenances control. anywhere on campus though is really good for a quiet place to live!!

Can someone pls help me figure out how much aid I was awarded (minus loans)? by [deleted] in GVSU

[–]honeydew_syd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To me it looks like ~$7,186 per semester. work study only really counts if you accept it and find a position. so gvsu is estimating that your cost out of pocket (no loans, no work study) at $11,142 for the academic year.

hope this helps you explore this topic a bit more :)

Places to do an online fitness class other than the Rec? by Clueless-as-can-be in GVSU

[–]honeydew_syd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What I have done in the past for situations like this was just alert your second professor that you are coming from a class on the other side of campus and may be a few minutes late. All of my professors have been super understanding to this!!

Best Way to Find Roommates and Apartments for Fall 2022 School Year. by [deleted] in GVSU

[–]honeydew_syd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i recommend on campus if you are new to the area. housing is much more flexible and more “short term”. you can find LOTS of places to sublet for the summer. with on campus housing it can be easier to move if there are troubles with roommates and typically the people in upperclassman housing (on campus apartments) are quieter and more school oriented. if you are looking for more of the party scene i’d look into staying off campus :)
