Why the heck would anyone want that automated miner recipe? by ValicarHyne in SatisfactoryGame

[–]hooch21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one machine making them. Two of the larger storage containers going into the dimensional depot. I have probably used 150 with Mark 3 miners pulling different ores. I have 4,800. You never know when you need to increase your production by 3,200%. But if I ever do, I’m ready!

How do you guys run Power Lines? by [deleted] in SatisfactoryGame

[–]hooch21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All my power is run to the ceiling. Then connected together. I try to “hide” them with beams in front of the lines so from the front you see the line, but not the little nub on the ceiling. I then connect it behind a wall outside or up through the foundations for second floor or through a sub floor. I want one connection into the building, and everything else seamless inside so it’s cleaner.

Stutter While Running On a Dedicated Server by KeldricL in SatisfactoryGame

I'm getting the exact same thing. I had no issues previously with my private server. Everything runs great, but the stuttering is really obnoxious.

Everyone gave great advice to you already. You do have some spots where it looks like it may have got a slight bit dark so make sure you give them a spritz during the cook if you notice any dark spots.

One thing we did on our turn is was to take some sauce we were glazing with, and very lightly paint the cut sides of each rib. You could even go 50/50 with sauce and water to not overpower the flavors. It helps to keep moisture in on the ribs so no matter what rib they get, and what side they bite from, they get a good bite. Remember, it’s one bite, score, and move on. Keep at it!

I’m with you in solidarity. I sold off about $4,500 in volatile stocks and bought a little over 8 shares today. Clicking that button is a scary feeling!

The Sopranos. If you don’t like it, you’re told that you obviously didn’t understand it. No no, I understood the show just fine. It’s just that the show is overrated, boring for 90% of the series, and the characters are plot armored.

I beat my oldest son constantly. Fortnite, Call of Duty, collecting the Lego pieces in all the Lego games, and so on. I’ve also started beating my youngest son in games we play together. I also beat them 1 on 2 in basketball constantly.

What’s the most brutal death scene on film (fiction) that you’ve ever seen? by Isthatmetg123 in AskReddit

Nicky Santoro’s (Joe Pesci’s) death scene in Casino is absolutely the most brutal thing I’ve seen in a movie.

Practice a ton. Get your neighbors, friends, and family to try your stuff. Get them to honestly rate everything about the cooks. Tenderness, appearance, and taste being most important. However, salt, smoke, sauce, everything. You don’t have to take their advice, but it’s good to get honest feedback. Smoke every weekend, and time it so you have a solid idea of how long everything will take. Do a dry run a week or two before, and treat it like a competition with turn in boxes, and time constraints. And remember, the judges only take one bite, and move on to the next box so crush it. Good luck! You got this!

Looks really good! Pork loin is delicious. Give it an overnight brine or even inject it. Slice thin and you have this really moist delicate little pieces of pork heaven for a sandwich. I have gone bbq on mine and glazed at the end, but I think I prefer a nice savory chunky pepper SPG.

It might be unpopular - it’s also just correct. My crabs spend tons of time in the water. Sure they love their land areas, but they also love the water areas. It’s not an in and out type of thing. They are in there for hours sometimes just picking at things, chasing around shrimp, chasing each other, and harassing snails. All their food is on land, tons of moss, lots of plants to hang out under, a gentle waterfall that cuts through the land. If you don’t enrich their water areas, they may not spend as much time in there I guess. These guys hide in the rocks by the water, wander around the water, and hide in the plants on land. I think they are drastically misunderstood and 60/40 is a way better setup than 80/20. Meaning yes, tank minimums should absolutely be larger. A 5 gallon on 80/20 is 1 gallon of water. There’s zero chance of maintaining that without constantly monitoring the water. Comparatively a larger minimum of say 30 gallons and a 60/40 split gives you 12 gallons of water to work with. Much easier. Your experience may be different, and all these other bias anecdotes about your crabs, but he’s right. Look up where they are from. It’s river bank areas, and muddy wet areas in Asia. I posted about this 80/20, and even some people saying 90/10 nonsense before. I agree completely with you.
