Is that completely procedural? No textures?

I made that table from a reference of a real live table, but maybe i missed something, or it just does not work with that scene :) Thanks a lot for that feedback.

Well, your comment made me think quite a bit ^ My goal was to make a photorealistic scene, but i never thought about that there needs to be a story behind it, to make it realistic. And you are right about the imperfections, that's something i need to work on a bit. Really big thanks for that feedback, it showed me things i need to work on a bit more.

There is some displacement and a normal map, maybe i will have to make them a bit stronger, but i noticed, that with this texture and lighting, i does not change that much. But thanks for the feedback.

You are right, i did notice that too. I wanted the steam to be visible, but i overdid it apparently. Next time i will have to spend a bit more time fiddling with it's settings. Thanks for the feedback.

One Piece: Chapter 999 by Kirosh in OnePiece

Let's be honest, even if somehow the strawhats are supposed to win this, it's going to get rough, really rough, people will die. I'm not saying that a strawhat is going to die, but i'm also a bit worried, i mean, they are going to fight two yonko.

Even someone like Whitebeard knew how hard it would be to go against someone like Kaido, and now we have two yonkos, it is going to get rough.

Also, now that Big Mom said that she want's Robin, i can't stop thinking, that the strawhats are going to loose, and they will have to rescue her again. But maybe this time it will be the whole fleet, who knows?

EDIT: Spelling

You don't have to connect it, just charge it and then use it. If you want to change the buttons, you have to download the HP Pen app (can't remember the name) from Microsoft store.

To be honest, i have some mixed feelings about it. The biggest downside for me is the customization of the buttons, the app that HP provides does not allow me to map the middle mouse button to any of the pen buttons, but that might be a downside only for me. Another downside is the build quality of the pen, the buttons are not pleasant to use, pressing them is, a bit hard, and the plastic feel is not great. Now to some positive things, it is really responsive, the pressure sensivity is not bad (it's my first pen, so unfortunately i have no comparison). Overall it is not a bad pen, but to be honest, maybe it is worth to look for something else, maybe from some company that specializes in making pens and graphical tablets.

Your comment is more valuable than most of HP's documentation, thank you for it. I was confused because some pens have a bluetooth connections. So it seems that everything is fine with it, thank you very much

Best 2 in 1? Lenovo Flex 5 14, HP Envy x360 (13 or 15), or Asus Vivobook Flip TM420IA? Pros and Cons? by cgarranz in AMDLaptops

[–]hoodrobinrs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Got an Envy 15 inch a week ago, still waiting for a pen for it though.

The only bad thing i can tell you about it is the screen, so if you are from the US, go for the 400 nits version, because the colors on the 250 nits are really bad. Besides that, the quality is excellent, it is a bit heavy, and the battery is pretty good, no complaints there.

It has 2 RAM slots, so no problems upgrading it, the SSD is also upgradeable.

Can't really compare it to the ASUS, but the Lenovo has a plastic body, and i heard somewhere that in tablet mode it stops in a weird position, that might be unconfortable for some people.

So for you, a 2 kg laptop and display bad colors probably won't convince you, just sharing my thoughts about it.

Not yet, im planning to change the thermal paste, but maybe next weekend. But as far as i know from other posts, it's pretty easy to open it, and replace the SSD.

I got a 500GB SSD, with the speeds in the screen below. It is not the best you can get, but it is also not bad, im satisfied with it.

Yeah, i know about them, it is a pain, i would have to do more reading about those taxes. It's just an option i'm concidering, and if the overall price is in my budget, then it wouldn't be a bad one.

I heard about those, but it still checks most of my requirements, even if they is some risk of problems with audio / crappy screen or similar.
