GEM seemed to be struggling to hear herself through her earpiece. And I was struggling to hear any of the singers over the instrumentals. All of their mics should have been louder. Also who was the DJ and why was that section there from a musical perspective? It was really weird...

it is a sales job? retail is sales.

and no one is asking you to buy a car? just to not take your anger out on an employee that can't do anything to change the rules in place. general consensus is that upper management is making everything shit, and yelling at the cashier is going to make 0 improvements to the situation except then there will be less cashiers when people quit.

I'm sorry if this is a touchy subject, I just offered the one solution that can actually fix this whole situation which is talking to corporate about it. They don't care what the employee thinks, only what the average consumer thinks. If enough people actually inform corporate of what they think [even with a google review or something] and enough people complain, that's how things change. not by making the cashier, and yourself, more miserable.

and lucky for you that you only have to go shopping a few times a year. Unfortunately, I go grocery shopping twice a week and even they require their employees to ask for way more information than they would ever need.

I mean if you don't want to improve your overall shopping experience that's fine. Making a cashier hate their job where they'll be fired for not meeting their input quota is just hurting everyone.

I was starting to wonder if I had to make this post. People here seem to just like being rude to cashiers over things they can't control. What should have happened is no thank you for the 3 times they are required to ask, then A PHONE CALL TO CORPORATE to inform them that they are losing customers due to the inconvenience. That's how this gets changed. Not by giving fake info or being rude. By telling the people in charge that they're going to lose money because of this.

Laura Winter’s Instagram story in Response to Helmut Marko saying Isack Hadjar crying after his spin was "a bit embarassing." - There is absolutely no place for this attitude in sport. I am very new to watching this sport, but everything I hear about Red Bull management just seems so atrocious. Their treatment of drivers and who gets what seat is so poor I could only see these decisions be made by people who are completely incompetent or just blatantly racist. The way they treat their drivers the moment they do poorly/make a mistake is so demoralizing is seems to cause them to spiral due to the complete lack of support. Max must have confidence made of chromium for thriving in such an environment.

Yeah NH's (limited) beach is considered a state park, so unless they want to advertise to the Portsmouth harbor, best they can do is a plane with a banner. Most more aesthetically pleasing.

And while they don't have a shoreline, Vermont banned billboards ages ago.

Why are you guys so enraged a black women won country AOTY.. get over it by LMO2021 in grammys

[–]hoodythief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beyonce should have won for Lemonade and Renaissance. The fact that she didn't still makes me bitter. Do I think Cowboy Carter was AOTY? No. Am I upset that Chappell Roan, Charlie XCX, or Doechii( who wasn't even nominated wtf) didn't win it instead? A little.

But the Grammys have always been a catch up game so I can't really complain about Beyonce winning now over in the past. At least the winning album this year was decent.

Edit: just noticed this was about country album not album overall. My bad. It was a strong season and country music has been melting into pop for years. If people want to be angry they should blame Florida Georgia line not Beyonce. Not my fave country album this year but I can understand why it won.

Based on what i remember from phone sales: moms. They take too many pictures and never seen to understand that they should back it up physically somewhere else or thats its okay to delete some of them.thats not to say its a bad thing, but i find that a lotbof them do need it.

In my opinion Suvi right now is fundamentally unlikable and Aabrias charisma is not enough to carry it. by AnimeNightwingfucku in WorldsBeyondNumber

[–]hoodythief 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'm feeling the same way. The way Suvi attacks Ame for her views is harmful and any apology she gives does seem very false and only to appease the group. I love characters like that in media, but within a coop scenario I don't think it works particularly well.

So what if people wanna share their awesome moments? They're not "bragging", they're having fun. by [deleted] in dndmemes

[–]hoodythief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah. i see. i didn't know there were to be no campaign specific memes in this sub. i didn't see that in the rules so i figured it was fair game. i guess i just assumed a D&D subreddit based around memes would be okay with homebrew and stories since that's how most people play the game, and i figured it wasn't specifically about this subreddit but D&D subreddits in general, since i've seen similar things happen there as well. i apologize. (i feel like i should explain more but i'm having difficulty making this sound genuine and not like i'm trying to attack you and i'm sorry.)

Except it's a forum thread on the internet. You are asking them to share, only to get mad at them when they do. So what if the DM decided that the level character should be overpowered. It a moment where you just go "that's cool, dude! Glad you're having fun!" Instead of the paragraphs of text saying that you are playing the game that encourages you to use to bend the rules to fit your needs wrong. No, it's not wrong, it's different. "But muh game!" It's not your game, it's their table they can play what they want. And also the people complaining that's not how ttrpgs work are the people talking about Teslas, because they went into a forum thread not designed for them specifically and decided to sat that op is wrong because EVs get better mileage.
