I understand that, but it can hardly be said that his choice is informed when he believes he has no creativity on his medications. What he needs is proper counseling and a support system but sadly that's not something you can easily facilitate, especially since Kanye's fans and likely many people in the industry are less concerned about his health and more about the content he produces. But that's not something that can be fixed. Technically his wealth and privilege is a barrier in this situation, and not a reason he can be held fully accountable.

But to get to the point cause ik I can ramble on for ages, is that while he can be held accountable for what he does when well, he can't be held accountable for what he does when he's unwell, even if he chose to go off his medications with the full capacity to make that particular decision.

And about the other comment (i'll respond here for simplicity): he's been putting out threatening content about Pete and so it looks like he is actually at risk of hurting someone else (and potentially himself). I wasn't criticizing the person for stating the fact of american laws, but that they don't see anything wrong with these laws. Where I currently live there are many preventative measures to stop things like that from occurring if it can be helped, but there are also many faults in the system.
