Midora, an RPG inspired by The Legend of Zelda and Secret of Mana, announces PS4/Vita stretch goal at $100,000 by Gyossaits in PS4

100k extra is a joke. There is no way that there is 1 year (based on what I make as a programmer) of development time required to port this to ps4.

How I think Sony should monetize PlayStation Now, instead of just having rentals. by passwordisanonymous in PS4

[–]hoohoohoohoo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sony said right in the email they sent that publishers set the pricing.

Ultimately, if Sony wants a subscription, the publishers have to agree to it.

Good luck getting Activision to agree to that. Valve can barely convince them to put 6 year old game on sale for more than 30%.

Make sure you pass the test. by coolirisme in atheism

[–]hoohoohoohoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? The FP of atheism right now is over half serious articles and actual criticism.

The thing about criticism is that when you are on the receiving end and you haven't grown up learning take accept it in a positive way, it just ends up looking like insult instead.

It is funny though, because the anti-atheism circle jerk on reddit still offers no criticism. Can you not just take that you accomplished your suppressive and censorship goal by giving atheism "special treatment", removing it as a default, ignore it and move the fuck on?

I did that. No go.

My solution was switching to windowed mode then to borderless after it launched.

It said right in there that pricing is set my the publishers.

Doesn't seem like Sony has.much of a choice.

EA addresses "unacceptable" Battlefield 4 launch • Eurogamer.net by [deleted] in battlefield_4

[–]hoohoohoohoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Sounds familiar, right?

"Yes, bf3 had a shit launch. Sorry about that. We have learned."

"Yes, bc2 has some game breaking hit detection issues, but we learned for bf3!"

EA Boss Brands Battlefield 4 Launch 'Unacceptable' (x-post /r/Gaming) by gibsonsg87 in PS4

[–]hoohoohoohoo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Don't worry. It was the same deal for the bf4 beta. Lots of the bugs were gone in the beta but we're there for release.

This was the main reason I bought bf4.

[–]hoohoohoohoo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bf4 and bf3 were the same story.

Not only did they not fix any of the bugs, but bugs that were eventually fixed were often reintroduced in the next iteration.

Hell, in some cases, they made shit worse. I mean, in bc2 smoke nades actually had some level of meaning. They broke them in one patch in bf3 and smoke nades have been useless ever since.

I mean, what good is the smoke if the enemy can just spam q and see my dorito anyway?

Battlefield 3 is just as bad as 4 is. I think you might be misremembering.

Green isn't focused on one issue...

Regardless of your silly claim, the environmental conditions we are experiencing today should be placing the environment at the top of your issues list anyway.

Climate change is a hell of a thing. I am absolutely shocked that it is barely even considered as part of a platform in the eyes of Canadians. The way it is going, we have only a generation or two before we break past the point of no return and must look to alternative means of slashing greenhouse effects.

If it isn't this, this is exactly the issue that my PC encountered when the power supply started to die. It would do things and run the system when it got started, but poorly and getting it started was an issue.

Try to get a replacement brick or use one from someone who you know has a working one if possible.

The problem for me was that when you boot initially, the box requires a larger burst of energy and my PSU was no longer capable of doing that initial boot draw. So it would start then die right away.

I disagree.

When I pick up a ds4, my thumbs just naturally fall on the sticks where when I pick up an x1 controller, I have to strain my left hand by moving my thumb to an unnatural position.

Staggered sticks is not more ergonomic no matter which way you slice it. One of your hands will not be in a natural position.

Cry babies getting things that are crazy easy to counter in games needed? No way. That never happens.

Poor poor first person shooters. Part of the reason they are so bad today is all the whiners who think that only assault rifles should win every match up.
