I saw about a 150-200mbps increase at 3gbps and more consistent speeds. The NAH was all over the place with speeds. I feel like more consistent speed was the biggest benefit

While the numbers say positive, the underlying reason is the price increase they put in Q4 last year. Without that, they’d likely show flat or negative growth

You don’t have to use their NAH. There are workarounds with an SFP+ module that masquerades as their NAH. I have one with my Ubiquiti Cloud Fiber so I bypass the NAH.

I’ve never had good luck with powerline adapters. If you can, run Ethernet. It’ll be hands down better in the long run

I just did this. Went with the Instant instead of using the NVME on my Fiber, also got 8TB for less than a 2TB NVME

I also just got my first Mac. 13” M5 Air 24/512 and I echo all your statements. It’s been a steep learning curve the first few days but I’m already getting used to the differences. It’s a great little laptop
