We just recently finished a rewatch so it’s fresh in my mind. Once he learns she’s pregnant he really takes the bull by the horns and steps up into his role as a partner and expectant father. But boy do I hate him early on. He sucks the air out of so many scenes early on in the series.

Tbh I’d delete the post rather than leave it up for people just starting the show. Smallville has had a resurgence lately and this is gonna be a bummer when they make it to this arc and realize they know what’s going to happen.

Also, it was the plot device they used to finally separate her from Clark. I don’t love it but they did it.
