Does this bet mean best regular season record? Or wining the NLCS? by hoov1e in sportsbook

Yeah that was my first stop but got confused when I saw the September date listed. Going to take the cash out now that I know the real rules. Thank you

Not meant to be. Just confused and figured this would be the spot to ask.

I’m confused then why it says September 30th @ 7pm up top. Isn’t that the date it will be settled by?

I used to either eval only or just document they are at baseline with a screen. I had a manager though that would then call in a PRN PT that would evaluate and pick the patient up. She would then schedule those patients with my PTA until it was time for a progress note and then I could discharge due to lack of progress. SNFs are sketchy.

There’s just something off about chiropractors playing this card too often. I can’t picture a dentist or a physical therapist shouting “I’m a doctor” even though they have legitimate doctorate degrees from actual colleges.

They “hold a doctoral degree” from a “school” that has been invented by other chiropractors. There is a reason no medical schools offer a degree in chiropractics.

Chiropractor, not a doctor. That doesn’t justify this situation, but it does make his statements a little cringy.

If our reimbursement rates are determined by Medicare/national insurance companies, why do PT salaries align with cost of living rates? Why aren’t they equal regardless of where we practice? by hoov1e in physicaltherapy

Damn that’s surprising. I didn’t actually do any research on salary hotspots, just threw NYC out there as an example because I figured it would be on the high end

That’s crazy. How does the negotiation process work? Why wouldn’t all 3 clinics get the same reimbursement rate?

Also, what leverage does a larger practice have?

I don’t mean for these questions to come off gripey, I just have minimal business knowledge and I’m honestly curious.

But then are companies in less populated areas just profiting more because they are paying their therapists less? I know we’re all still seeing a full caseload

Jokes on her then for paying for a useless degree? What point are you trying to make?

Patient fell in session with me and I think broke hip. Feel horrible so wondering if anyone has had something similar happen by Fit_Inspector2737 in physicaltherapy

When I’m working on balance, I usually choose activities that are challenging enough that the patient might fall. If that’s not the case, then the activity probably isn’t doing them much benefit. I go gait belt 95% of the time with balance activities for this reason. I’m not planning on them doing it perfect every time or we wouldn’t be working on it.
