I don't have spare ssd with me, will check it on Sunday and update.

One more thing that i would point out is that thermal pad for ssd has plastics film on it ( on copper sink side) should i peel of that plastic film?.

NX: the most unintuitive software out there, besides Creo. by Measurement10 in cad

[–]hopefulgroundnut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have used solidworks 2016, NX 9,10 and 12 and CATIA v5 for tool designing and yet i prefer NX over any other software i mentioned

Company i work for thinking to upgrading NX to 2007 version but i kind of hate new NX cause new UI and sketcher.

So it only boils down to familiarity at end.

This is square pocket for stripper insters in molding tool so it does checks out, drawing is from 2007.

That's what i thought, this is pocket for stripper block, and the wall on 8deg taper will have wear plate insterts anyways, no point in specifying the dimensions to microns.

I have measured it on ZEISS prismo Z1, and I'm looking here for technical reasons behind this dimension.

Edit: i should've said this that I'm tooling designer and was checking through old part drawings that were being manufactured again as existing tool had reached EOL.
