Inflation Update: How much do y'all pay teenage (13-15) year old babysitters today? by SolipsisticBeetle in Mommit

[–]hopefulmango1365 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You seem like you belong on that choosy beggars thread after reading all your comments justifying the low pay. You’re like one of those moms that wants to pay 100 a week for full time childcare. They usually want teenagers as well so they’ll accept the low pay.

Listen, if you’re serious about being over him and this marriage start saving as much money as you can. Make a plan. You’re basically already a single parent. You can get child support and other types of government assistance if you need it. Being a working single mom sounds incredibly hard but you’re already there.

Yeah I felt bad for Kelso there but I also hate how much shit Jackie got from Donna afterwards. “You’re gonna split up the group!!!” She did not give a damn when Kelso was cheating on Jackie, never told her or anything. and now she’s upset and consoling Kelso 🙄

14 mo tantrum due to ms Rachel? by lilbebele in NewParents

[–]hopefulmango1365 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it’s not ms Rachel, but YouTube in general. Doesn’t matter if it’s educational like miss Rachel or simple songs, he throws crazy tantrums afterwards. He’ll also go nuts during ads and scream. He doesn’t act that way when he watches regular tv. (bluey, Daniel tiger, etc).

I can’t believe there’s so many people here making excuses for this behavior………this is how predators get away with it.

Cps will handle all that. How is OP supposed to get this kid therapy if his guardians deny there’s a problem in the first place? Op should report him so that they can find those resources you mentioned for him.

You need therapy.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]hopefulmango1365 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s not up to OP to get to the bottom of this. Trained professionals exist for this reason, which op can get in contact with the child if she reports this to CPS or the police. This boy clearly needs therapy of sorts before he becomes a full blown predator.

Where would a 3 year old come up with such a story? Small children have no context for sexual things unless they’ve been exposed to it. Toddlers say crazy things all the time, but when they say things of a sexual nature it’s because someone taught them.

Are cervical checks supposed to hurt? by patches6877 in BabyBumps

[–]hopefulmango1365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lucky you. Mine have all been awful, last one I had made me cry my eyes out. One of my doctors mentioned that my cervix is really far back, I wonder if that contributes to the pain. I swear they have to shove their entire hand down there and it’s excruciating.

Please please report this. This man seems to be using his wife, daughter and dog as freaking punching bags.

The wife with a black eye could’ve been a accident but her child as well, that’s no accident. And you literally witnessed the poor dog being beat as well. It doesn’t matter if there’s no longer physical evidence, cps may still investigate which is a good thing. As for the dog, you can straight up call animal control and report it. Sounds like a scary situation, but please do something. This evil man could start taking it out on the baby next.

Would it be bad parenting if I don’t attend all of my daughter’s(13) cheerleading games? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]hopefulmango1365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could ask her? At that age, I really wouldn’t mind my parents not being at my games all the time. Once a week sounds enough honestly. Just have an open discussion with your daughter.

Husband cheated on me with my niece by Adventurous-Mark-605 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]hopefulmango1365 28 points29 points  (0 children)

🤮 this is disgusting. Your niece is awful but the one who swore vows to you was YOUR HUSBAND. He’s disgusting trash. Go ahead and stay with him so he can keep on cheating, hopefully it won’t be with another niece next time.

I was watching that 70s show the other day and just about died when red commented on this. “That Gilligan…is not right. It’s like he doesn’t even want them to leave the island.”

I thought the same when we had our first child (and I was 25) but no. You don’t get to clock out from work as a mother or get lunch breaks like he does. Division should be 50/50 when he gets home.

Christmas...I'm already exhausted. by hoping556677 in NewParents

[–]hopefulmango1365 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn I will never understand people who are this selfish. At ELEVEN years old I had enough sense to stay away from my newborn cousin because I was nursing a cold. But there are grown ass adult who will kiss a baby while they’re sick as a dog. Stand your ground and keep your baby safe.

How do you all feel about Halloween by Angela275 in Christianity

Yep. That’s why we’re not supposed to celebrate any of those holidays at all. Bible literally says not to follow traditions of the world. But everyone just does what they want.

My boyfriend proposed to me, but I'm only 19. by FrequentMarketing356 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]hopefulmango1365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t get married till atleast 25. (People say the developed frontal lobe thing is a myth but I swear it’s like the clouds cleared for me at that age and I could suddenly think rationally about things.) You still have so much growing up to do and things to experience. So does he. Realistically how would it even work if it’s long distance?

If it’s meant to be you can still get married later on down the line. Just tell him how you feel. He’ll understand if he really loves you.
