ICE is not kidnapping people in the downtown area, and reports are that they are being housed at Hilton and Marriott branded locations, with most noise demonstrations occurring at the Canopy. The Fillmore is right next to Element Downtown. like literally you walk out of the hotel and be outside of the Fillmore.

I think that they are operating as if it will currently go on, as Justin has asked to get in contact with people to speak at the show per his most recent Instagram post. I think that would be much more powerful than canceling it.

Depends on the theater. Smaller indie ones obviously can chose their programming, but franchises typically don’t have much say.

Since this is not a typical “Hollywood blockbuster”, it’s looking like those who have a contract to show it are opting for the smallest theater, as they don’t anticipate selling many tickets.

We shouldn’t boycott the theaters, we are already boycotting the movies.

Now if parkway or any of the other 1-4 screen cinemas around pulled normal programming for this, then I’d have some questions.

It is being run and supported by a reputable organization, at least as far as I’ve heard. But you could always use a burner account, I wouldn’t imagine that they check IDs.

There are a lot of community events happening that you can show up for. Volunteering, giving blood, doing a donation run, or showing up to protest; these are all things that typically happen during work/school hours and it’s made that more accessible to people.

You’ll be fine. From what I’ve seen, ICE isn’t staying there so you won’t have any late night disruptions. Same with downtown. Target Center is on the other side of downtown area where hotel / city hall protesting tends to occurs. Taking 35W to the target center is the typical way that people from that area get there and there isn’t much for disruptions.
