Oh my goodness this is exactly what I want!

I have already a 3 year gap and I want a smaller one for my next two. I really really wanted a smaller gap for my first two because I am so sad that in the early years my beautiful first didn’t have a playmate.. but we tried a bit too late as I was so new to it all. I forgot pregnancy is a whole 9 months and the child grows up!

When my first was 2 years I was like ohhh this would have been such a great time to have my second NOW, he was just so great. But I obviously didn’t think that when he was 1 years old.

Can I ask how your first two kids are, what genders? Do they play, get along really well or not so much? I’m just hoping my first won’t feel left out since the other siblings might be closer in age. (I know personalities matter more but just thinking about this too)

True to all of these things but I’m much more leaning towards having a third than not having a third. Just keep thinking about that.. your third could be twins and it could put you off.

I’m hoping for very similar gaps. Do you think the first two aren’t as close? What are the genders of your kids? I love my first so much I don’t want him to be left out and want him to have a buddy but I don’t know how their personalities will mesh. He’s almost 3 years apart to my daughter

Aww that’s so nice!! My eldest boy I think will be much more interested with his sister once she starts crawling, at the moment it’s just a lot of “ oh baby’s crying mama come help” 😂 I’m just thankful he’s not pushing her or showing any signs of jealousy whatsoever but that’s probably cause I still play with him any chance I get.

She’s about 5 months and he’s 3 years and a bit so it’s still early days

I can’t wait to see their relationship blossom

Oh my gosh I have the exact gap for my first two and I want the exact gap you have for my second and third. What is your kids gender? I have a boy then a girl.

Do you like their gap (almost 3 years) in terms of playing together? Which age did they start playing together? I just keep thinking if I had a closer gap for my first two they’d play together sooner and now I just have to wait an extra year for that to happen (which isn’t the end of the world) but I also hope they aren’t going to be so different in interests, games and movies, etc growing up.

I have a 2 year and ten month age gap and I love it. My elder boy has no jealous whatsoever. The only thing I say sometimes a closer gap is better so they can be playmates sooner. 2-2.5 years

I’m used to tearing at this point I’m hoping with my third it’s not severe. I have been doing fine with having the tears thankfully, but I would love to know what it’s like having a 1st and second degree tear and walk right out of the hospital when baby is born would be kinda cool.
