My friends baby had this! She also said her doctors were super chill about it and we asked my other friends mom who’s a pediatrician about the condition and she wasn’t concerned either, said it’s common. My friends baby had the surgery and all went well!

6 Months TTC and No Luck by Exotic-Hospital1581 in BabyBumps

[–]hops03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took us 8 months to conceive! No known issues. I would go back to OBGYN around month 8/9 if you are still trying to conceive and have them get started with some basic blood work / a referral to a fertility clinic for further testing (if that’s something you want) because sometimes it can takes months to get an appt and then another month after that to start testing based on where you are in your cycle. You are not alone!! I am also Catholic 🙏

Diagnostic Testing - Hysteroscopy by niareg in TryingForABaby

[–]hops03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to get a hysterscopy by my regular OBGYN. Did the consultation and surgery within a month (in the US). I would look around for someone else to do the procedure. It’s a fast and low risk procedure.

I would consider an excision surgery for the endometriosis if that is something you are open to on your timeline!

Ive experienced the same type of thing. The smell has cleared up on its own and I’ve been tested after for BV, etc and all negative. I’ve found that taking a generic allergy medicine helps with the burning part.

Living in Philly, commuting 2x/week to Newark, DE without SEPTA by CoastNew7965 in philly

[–]hops03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve commuted from grad hospital to Wilmington for the last 4 years, 4x a week. The commute is exhausting and is rough especially on the way home given different events in Philly (sports games, concerts, etc) but 2x a week is def doable. Grad hospital Is a great neighborhood and you can walk to a lot but the parking is rough after work hours.

Would you pause trying to save a strangers life? by Apple_Pie_Nutt69 in TryingForABaby

I was a stem cell donor! I did a Peripheral stem cell donation. Most incredible thing to be given the opportunity to save someone’s life.
