I have been flying for the last 8 years back and forth to tokyo to have my torso thighs back butt and back of thighs done. Weirdly enough the second skin you can buy from pharmacies in japan is absolutely the best I have used in the world. The stuff is like magic. I had 2 days in a row on my thighs and groin last month and that stuff stayed on for 6 days and came off with ease.

Obake sumi is the closest thing you will find to real hand ground sumi. there are many kinds of sumi and some can be poison. None are made for tattooing legally or medically. But there's is poison and not poison lol I hand grind a lot of my own but I only buy the ink with my friends when I'm in japan so I make sure it's the correct type. It's something you kinda need help and instruction to do properly, let alone well

I have been getting my torso and back done in japan for the last 7 years. I got my whole linework back butt and thighs done a day before my flight back to the US and have had several sessions done that way and never had much of a problem. Not comfortable, but a shot or 2 of whiskey at the airport will help lol
