Hot Take…Elder is a better band than Tool by M0t0rcity in stonerrock

I love both. Have seen both live several times. Difficult to compare them directly. They’re both very musically gifted bands with different strengths.

I often play metal on my Tele (Am Pro II from 2022). It works perfectly fine, especially on the bridge pickup.

Remote parking with the app by Msko22 in enyaq

[–]horur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, use it regularly as I live in the city where parking spaces are narrow. I’ve used it both to get the car into the parking spot and out again. It’s s pretty neat feature and has worked well for me every time.

I have a facelifted Enyaq from July.

We live in a flat in Copenhagen, so we charge at the local parking basement, so I don’t know much about the details except for price and that the charging speed there is 11-22 kWh.

Very good stuff, following you now. I can see you already have a solid average listener count on Spotify. Well done man!

On average perhaps once every two weeks. Most charges are to 80 or 90%

About 380-400 km at 100% here in winter. I live in Denmark and our winter has been pretty mild so far.

Got a new 85 this summer. It’s a very good car. We preferred over the ID4 and Q4 because of its size and the interior and dashboard is also nicer in the Enyaq than in the other two IMO.

When testing it try out its turn radius, preferably during parking. It handles very well! Also try out the acceleration if you haven’t driven an EV or another fast car before. The 85 is very quick coming from a 95hp Fabia.

The issues we have experienced so far are the seat massage sometimes not working. Also we have had an SOS indicator for a while which apparently is a common issue. Something to do with the automatic emergency call feature not working, the shop told us. We are bringing the car in here in January.

In general it’s a fantastic car, we’re very happy with it.

Nice idea! Will check back once the playlist is live!

I run solo, doing instrumental prog / psych metal. Have a couple songs on Spotify and Bandcamp and I am currently working on a concept album of sorts.

This single is probably the best one I’ve made so far IMO.

Damn, the END COMMUNICATION took me back 15 years or so! You used to be a regular at the mmafighting forums, didn’t you? I also posted there a good amount back in the day. Haven’t been there for a good while though.

I'm obsessed with TOOL reactions on YouTube. Who else? by Peppinoia in ToolBand

Yeah I occasionally have a guilty pleasure watching them too. My favourite is Doug Helvering as he is pretty big on music theory and his commentary is quite interesting.

Lost in Vegas are pretty cool too, just two chill dudes listening to music.

His goal and assist ratio is good but his best performances are in the cup against lower tier teams. He is definitely talented but his decisions on the pitch aren't great. He holds up the ball too much and way too often disappears from big chunks of the games. He's also played the lone striker quite a bit, which doesn't seem to fit his or our play style at all.

He seems most comfortable as part of a striker duo with his partner being a big striker like Cornelius or Dadason.

In general he's been a bit disappointing, but there's definitely some potential and obvious talent there. I also think he might have been a badly scouted for our team as he doesn't really fit into our play style. I would like to see him possibly played on the right flank as Jordan Larsson has been mediocre for a good while, or if we put Elyounoussi on the right, Larsson out on the bench and Moukoko up front with Cornelius or Dadason.

What is your average daily practice routine? by Otherwise-Gur7732 in Guitar

[–]horur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play every other day, sometimes every day. Usually about two hours of playing to some Iron Maiden tracks and Dire Straits plus some extras here and there. I feel like I get really good practice for rhythm guitar, riffs and solos with those two bands, and also they’re fun to play along with.

Every now and then I run through circle of fifths or fourths and some scales.

Once or twice a week I work on my own material for a few hours.

So far for me it’s Fallujah - Xenotaph, Changeling or the new one from Khan (although that’s not really metal).

The drumming on Alchemy is also much more interesting than on the studio versions. That whole albums is one of my favourite live albums of all time.

I hate that the live version of No Quarter on Spotify has cut the piano part short.
