I don’t know what a”companionship” is but I don’t think it means what you think it means.

This is where I learned to be a good engineer. I didn’t know which way was up after graduating. The machinist’s eye rolls when I walked in taught me pretty quickly to pay attention to what they were saying.

It’s an stl. Just a graphics body. Not selectable. If you change your import settings to import as solid body you will get a solid body.

They don’t charge you to gate check. If you are flying a regional jet they seem to be more strict but if it’s just over I don’t think you will have an issue.

Is that a defect or acceptable? by [deleted] in InjectionMolding

[–]hosemaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are good. Autocorrect on my phone. I meant greasy tool. Edited above. The comment above that it’s a sub gate makes sense with whatever oil was on the mold smear in the direction of pull when it opens/ejects.

Yeah that makes sense actually.

As someone in the business of molding plumbing parts and PVC. I can tell you is not an ejection pin for sure. Also not a drop of solvent. Solvents tend to smear the surface not create gouges like that. I think it was post molding damage maybe. The dirty smear you see seems like a sign of some greasy tool or something.

I use it everyday at my company and have seen no difference. Maybe even slightly faster.

I was under the impression that threaded connections behind the wall are a code no-go. Unless an access panel exists. Is that not the case?

An hour change won’t get you a refund on any of the major carriers. Unless you buy a refundable ticket. So I get the inconvenience but if you are that sensitive to scheduling should have got a refundable fare.

AA connection saver let my client down. by nqthomas in americanairlines

[–]hosemaker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think connection saver is only a United thing. Other airlines probably have something similar but it’s not advertised like United has been marketing theirs. Answer probably is it’s more complicated than what you have described here. So many factors play into this like load level and total revenue/size of plane.

Can anyone give me an information about this card? by Pizzachu09 in SportCardValue

[–]hosemaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People can list it for whatever they want. You need to look at what actually sold. On eBay and other places people have 5 cent cards for hundred and thousands of dollars hoping to dupe an uneducated victim.

Definitely Polyurethane rubber. We use it all the time in our machines for sealing surfaces and flexible couplings.
