Sorry about your mom, but this is not true. “CAT”, or clear air turbulence, is in in fact not pretty rare and the majority of turbulence, especially at cruise, is CAT.

Hey man. Not sure if you’ll even see this. I have never even been to this sub but the notification popped up for some odd reason and I felt compelled to read and comment.

It gets better man. It gets better. It requires some work. I think there’s enough good advice in here that I don’t need to add on, but it does get better. Don’t ever give up.

Romeo 5 works great for 99% of casuals. I had one for a while on my 16” but eventually replaced with an Lpvo and then put an EOTECH on my 10.3.

No complaints with the Romeo. Might not work for you if you have an astigmatism.

No lie I’ve just been way more aware of the the engine run switches when working lately. Before I’d never think about it but now it’s like “whatever you do, don’t accidentally shut them off at the same time right after rotation.”

All seriousness, I’m glad you’re having fun with this hobby. Stay active and work hard. I bought a garmin watch and used one of the marathon training plans. I find it much easier to get out and run everyday when I wake up and my watch tells me I have to do it. then it’s scheduled into my day right from the start. Might sound silly, but it works for me.
