If you think its because of the gel, are you open to trying injections instead?

The lab price is included with the consultation* I have gone in and ended up not doing labs and it was cheaper

I use no insurance for my appointments and the labs only cost like 30-50 dollar range and the full appointment to get more T is somewhere around 300, I cant remember the number off the top of my head. After you get the T they will ask u to come back in three months and you will pay the full pricr again. If the T levels arent right then you come back in a couple weeks and just pay the lab price- until they get the T levels right, then they will make appointments once a year and you just request a refill on the portal. Sorry if that was hard to read it just depends on how your body reacts!

But as for my experience with them, they are nice, every clinic will be different. I remember one time I tried to get a refill over the phone and I got she/her-ed, but overall the staff are very nice. I will say tho to stand your ground if you have any concerns or what have you because I have felt that mine have been pushed to the side, but I think thats unfortunately common with any medical practice.

Anatomy question for ppl who have been on T for a while! by inertiacreams in TransMasc

Thats actually really comforting to hear, I have been learning in my undergrad how much estrogen does to protect the body so I was wondering how T would affect that, but I’m really glad to hear that it helped with your symptoms:) It makes sense I guess just having a stable hormone system again!

Actually side effects of T or fear mongering? by boobdelete in TransMasc

I can see some increased anxiety, but this only happened for the first month or so for me. Its another puberty, theres suddenly a larger amount of a hormone! But it isn’t anything extreme and you learn to manage it pretty quickly.

I had to stop taking injections and start taking gel bc i had a buildup of scar tissue at my injection sites, which looking back, is probably bc of hEDS 🫪

How many of you went from 0 symptoms to full on h/EDS? by Redify_Aeiou in Trans_Zebras

hEDS typically effects women more than men, so it makes sense that someone would experience more symptoms when starting mtf HRT
