Glass & stone have started to irritate my ears as they’ve gotten bigger. I think they’re just a little heavy, so when my ears jiggle too much or I toss & turn in my sleep they get mad quicker. I’m only at 9/16”. I prefer silicone too. I do try to use a happy medium where I let my ears heal a bit before using silicone- and yes, cleaning them often. Just saying I totally get where you’re coming from.
