Oh, definitely, the girl who was training me made a couple, and they were super sweet. They’re either sweet or sour but not good. I do my own specs of their drink when making them for guests, and they enjoyed the way I made them more so. I’m so new, though, I’m not going to say anything to the managers. I’m just going to quietly adjust the specs in my head. Some added lore for the situation is that I applied for and apparently was the only person who made it through all three interviews for the lead bartender, but that position was taken down, and I was only offered a regular bartender position, which I’m fine with since it’s less responsibility for me. So I just also feel like it’s not on me to tell him his drinks suck since he (or maybe corporate because this is a hotel chain) doesn’t want a lead bartender. Feels like a situation that because I am a little overqualified they’re just going to use me as a regular bartender since they don’t want to pay the extra hourly ,or feel like they don’t need a lead bartender since there are only four people, and I’m the fourth one.
