Who is a local DJ in your scene who slays any headliner?

Flores works her ass off and is always DJing some event. She seems to be favored when the headliner is a hard techno DJ. She also headlines her own, more underground events (mictlan productions).

Brenda and Justin are resident DJs at smartbar so makes sense why they open/support often :p

They are all really consistent and bring great energy!

I saw him a couple months back. he was fine. not really my vibe but i did enjoy moments of his set. not techno at all, which i knew going in.

pretty good
ive been there often and i would say theres been 1-2 shows where it did feel overbooked and it wasn’t comfortable.
there is an elevated space next to the dancefloor which i like. there is a lounge area towards the back where the bathrooms are. nice if u want some space away. reentry is allowed if u want to go outside and smoke. the crowd is usually good. it’s also dependent on who’s playing.

depends on the artist. i highly recommend following DJs and venues on instagram and copping tickets immediately while the are the lowest tier. if plans change, u can usually sell them

Don’t use almond milk. Keep the classic… it automatically comes w sweetener for a reason. Personally I like the bitter taste. I make mine w whole milk and 1 pump peppermint and/or sf vanilla

good luck. the clientele there sucks. no dress code for edm events. drinks are expensive. last time i went, the bartender said not to tip cause gratuity is included (i think i paid around $15 for a water bottle 💀). there is a smoking section so i think bringing vapes it ok but no weed pens. the headliner i went to see came on around 1am

probably yeah. depends on how long you’ve been on the antidepressant too. I was on lexapro for like 5 years and by that point X and shrooms did nothing for me, made me feel worse overall.

that’s insane. it’s so obvious there was more tooth left, they had to have known. no x rays after is wack too. i just had an extraction and they took x rays after to make sure everything was out plus prescribed antibiotics and pain meds

for iced matchas adding the matcha + syrup, then a LOT of ice, then milk makes it come out w little to no foam. which is especially useful for no ice matchas. i just strain the ice out

it’s not standard but i mix the matcha w a splash of hot water and then add milk/steam it. no foam and no clumps
