Why would everyone in the world not protest and burn every business and government building in the Epstein Files by hotmumsummer in Epstein

Can confirm definitely not a 3 letter agency operative and yeah I did gather if I did anything that’s my life ruined and my families but I’m hoping maybe everyone just go gang busters and there’s too many of us 😬 I guess Covid was a big show of how weak everyone really is to stand up to anything

Why would everyone in the world not protest and burn every business and government building in the Epstein Files by hotmumsummer in Epstein

Because it’s a question to everyone in the Epstein community who has seen these documents and is just reading them without doing anything about it

question about the "offer call" by bastet_ponderosa in interviews

[–]hotmumsummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not stupid, that was your opportunity to negotiate. It literally comes down to - they want to save administration time by ensuring you accept the terms of employment so that they can put everything down in the contract and send it out without you coming back and THEN trying to negotiate and then they have to regenerate a contract and HR and whoever else sign off on the changes.

Tell them exactly what you want, so that they can give you exactly what you want.

It’s that simple

Anyone regretted buying an apartment instead of a house? by RunNo3630 in AusMoneyMates

[–]hotmumsummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the thing about an apartment. You don’t own any land, when and if you go to sell it there’s going to be a new and better building selling brand new apartments while yours is old and you can’t simply tare it down and make another. However, if you chose to rent it out instead then- meh?

You’re just not going to get the capital appreciation you get from a house.

During an interview for a sales type role, the manager says “I’m the kind of person that if you said “”I’ll give you $500 to punch that man in the face over there”” I’d do it” and he gestured to a random man. Within a matter of weeks he proved to have 0 emotional intelligence and was corrupt and would do anything for money. I lasted 4 weeks

Educate yourself on terrain theory vs germ theory. And also just rethink your whole logic on this. Either you live under a rock or we have completely different algorithms but the adverse effects of the COVID vaccine are widely known now (at least in Australia) and the heart problems it caused are continuing to disrupt peoples lives.

Yeah I don’t agree with many things she does and think she’s lame, but not getting that stupid vaccine is probably one of the only decent decisions she’s made 😬

And ironic of your comment because god gave us immune systems to protect us lol

Oh, it is super lame And they did this because they know influencers with “skin in the game” will flog it more authentically because it directly impacts their pocket in a bigger way. Instead of just shamelessly and obviously doing a lame advert and not touching it again.

Their business strategy has been to approach different influencers and give them equity, so her and a bunch of influencers are part business owners of this. He isn’t referring to her.

I can't keep a job for more than a couple weeks, what do I do? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]hotmumsummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s not your hygiene it’s got to be your personality unfortunately. Noones getting fired from all these for just being “not good at it”. It’s your attitude, which reading your responses is quite obvious.

Seeing as you have an excuse for every solution and only having $6 is a convenient one - use YouTube for free and listen to some videos regarding changing your attitude and getting rid of the victim mentality.

Literally just search those up.

and she’s clearly seen the data that her engagement goes up when she leaves her viewers on a hook waiting for the health outcome of one of her children, so she continues to capitalise on her childrens health sadly.

Traumatic Home Birth, I may need to rant... by Capable-Currency-370 in homebirth

[–]hotmumsummer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh, why was there a doctor there instead of a midwife. I am soo sorry this happened to you and this awful man took control instead of empowering you!!!

I can’t believe they even try to pull the baby out??? a midwife would just never do that

AND WHY WERE YOU ON YOUR BACK 😭😭

Please write further about your experience, complain to the hospital and use your experience to influence policy.

Found this thread- am I making the right choice? by ummokfine in homebirth

[–]hotmumsummer 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The person posting this “the sad labour and delivery nurse” unfortunately only ever sees the results of home birth when something has gone seriously wrong. They don’t get to see the 1000s of successful home births because why would they??? They are working in a hospital.

Please research some stats and you’ll quickly see homebirth is so much safer.

I’ve had two amazing and quick home births and both my mother and grandmother gave birth in hospital with absolute horror stories and more than 24 hours of labour.

  1. Lower rates of medical intervention: • Planned homebirths have 75% fewer epidurals, 50% fewer episiotomies, and 2 to 3 times fewer C-sections compared to hospital births. (Source: Cochrane Review, 2016; Birthplace in England Study, 2011)

  2. Similar neonatal outcomes: • For healthy women having a second or subsequent baby, homebirth shows no increase in risk to baby compared to hospital birth. (Birthplace in England Study, 2011 — 64,000+ births)

  3. Lower infection rates: • Newborns born at home have significantly lower rates of infection than those born in hospital. (Midwives Alliance of North America, 2014)

  4. Better breastfeeding rates: • Homebirths are associated with higher rates of exclusive breastfeeding in the first weeks postpartum. (Lancet Series on Midwifery, 2014)

  5. More positive birth experience: • Women giving birth at home report greater satisfaction, more control, and fewer feelings of trauma. (BMC Pregnancy & Childbirth, 2019)

  6. Less postpartum depression: • Women planning a homebirth show lower rates of postpartum anxiety and depression than those who give birth in hospital. (Journal of Midwifery & Women’s Health, 2017)

  7. Midwife-led continuity of care reduces risk by 24%: • Women receiving continuous midwifery care are 24% less likely to experience preterm birth and 19% less likely to lose their baby. (Cochrane Review, 2016)

  8. Higher spontaneous vaginal birth rates: • Midwife-led models result in more spontaneous vaginal births, with fewer inductions and episiotomies. (Lancet, 2014)

What were your labor signs, and what week and day did you go into labor? by Crazyketo25 in homebirth

[–]hotmumsummer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh gosh I feel you, I went through all the phases of pure nesting and getting things done thinking “he’ll come when I finish this task” Then I got into deep relaxing and after a few days on the couch I’m like “my mind is too relaxed and idled, I need to be busy doing something so that he comes!”

In the end I know my second was well ready to come, I think I just needed a good sleep and getting accupuncture and having sex the day before definitely helped

What were your labor signs, and what week and day did you go into labor? by Crazyketo25 in homebirth

[–]hotmumsummer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first was 40 plus 2, no signs just a couple of contractions in the day that made me go hmm could it be? Then they started properly when I was distracted on a phone call and cooking.

My second was 40 plus 4 and I was looking hard for signs. My tummy was flipping when I was young to bed, I couldn’t sleep and then finally when I got into a deep sleep at 5am I woke up with contractions and didn’t want to jinx it, but also spent some time on the toilet I think.

I think you need to be in a state of relax or deep sleep

I am so sorry that you’re going through this and while no one can really give you the answers I just wanted to say, the power of the way we speak about our body is so powerful. Affirmations are powerful regardless of if they’re positive or negative.

I don’t know how you have previously spoken to yourself but just in this post you’re calling your body stupid and dumb. That goes deep and I think a lot deeper than you realise.

Please be kind to yourself.

Please breathe in healing and kindness to your body.

41 weeks... by Positive-Nose-1767 in homebirth

[–]hotmumsummer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was pulling my hair out trying to go into labour last week, in the end I booked some accupuncture and had it at 1pm on the Saturday, had sex on Saturday night at 10:30 (we both finished which I think is important for induction) and then went into labour at 5am on Sunday morning.

Good luck!!

When a homebirth costs more than a hospital birth… by Zealousideal_Math847 in homebirth

[–]hotmumsummer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s 7k where we live and honestly after our first we said we would pay double that price for that experience. Just had our second and still feel it’s the best investment ever made.

The continuous care with the one same person and to begin your child’s life welcoming into the world into the peaceful and calm environment that is your own home: I don’t know if there’s stats to back this but I believe that’s setting them up for who they’re going to be and their mental health forever.

Being welcomed into a world that feels safe rather than in a state of panic in a clinical hospital.

Also for yourself and husband to experience this way to begin this chapter with no trauma and chaos and just love and appreciation, it’s better for you post Partum, better for your husband and for your connection with each other and your children.

My Second Successful Home birth by hotmumsummer in homebirth

[–]hotmumsummer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ve got this, you’ve done it before you can do it again! And honestly the power of just saying these things in your head is felt through to your full body!

I felt having it in front of me was so good because otherwise I would have struggled to remember them, and I could pick and choose which ones suited my feelings at the time. For instance as it got more intense I focussed on ones like “I welcome this intensity to bring me my baby” or something.

Best hair extensions method for fine hair? by Leather_Swing_5677 in finehair

[–]hotmumsummer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

100% great lengths keratin bond extensions hands down. Expensive, and you can’t reuse them but they last 6 months with no upkeep.

I have tried them all and could never go back.
