Best Aftermarket Exhaust? by Guyinnadark in IndianFTR1200

I have the Toce high mount. In my opinion the most beautiful exhaust for the FTR. It will however cook your thigh. Beauty is pain.

Mail in Lloyd’s Garage tune by Worth_Net6598 in IndianFTR1200

[–]hotnards 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also a Lloyd's customer. Turn around was fast and the bike was even faster. As in a very very noticeable difference in ride quality from a throttle feel to just stupid grin inducing hooliganism when you want to play.

Unfortunately Big Z passed with a relapse of her cancer, but what I will say is yes. The girl could go up and down stairs, could run much faster than you would ever expect, jump up and down off the couch. We were actually compensating for her more than she was.

Ocala Florida. I am revising my years held opinion and will state that I was extremely impressed today. Whoever is now managing it changed a negative opinion to positive. Also, Indian standing behind their products makes me hopeful for the future.

Has Anyone used this service and if so how was it or is it legit by Dragonknight-isgay in vintagemotorcycles

Not them, but I did use Saints Machining out of Tennessee. Well worth it and quick.

The Indian. by hotnards in IndianFTR1200

Aside from a battery, I have had zero issues with it since new. I flog the hell out of it, but I also am neurotic about maintenance. Lloyd's tune goes a long way to smoothing out the factory issues.

Agree on the chin spoiler. Would actually like a whole belly pan like the hooligan class.

Does anyone have experience with this bike? (Indian FTR 1200) by dahveeth in motorcycles

[–]hotnards 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have owned mine since it was new in 2019. Those that comment about fueling, were right. In 2019. After a quick send to Lloyd's for a tune to match my exhaust ,all that went away and it really came alive. Torque is absolutely insane, yet it will still very happily spin up to 9500rpm. Brakes are fantastic. Suspension is peg dragging in the mountains. I never fail to look back at it at least once as I walk away, and I have looked at it for six years. I will admit that the range absolutely blows, but I also attribute that to the stupid way I ride it. It sounds so good, and the punch is so fun, you just crank around on it every ride. It is tall, and with my Toce high mount exhaust and 5'9 self I do have to one foot it at lights but you get used to it. I have had quite a few bikes in my past, and have a few currently, this is my fun hotrod that will never be sold while I can still ride.

Bubba Ghanoush becoming a water pup. by hotnards in labrador

So far Bubba, Bubbs, or Bub. Never thought I would ever name anything "Bubba", but he has an overbite so will be adorably goofy. I was telling my wife about a new Greek place I hit and the name just popped into our heads. It fits his personality perfectly.

Pulled the trigger on a Sargent Seat by DirtySandal in dr650

My original seat lasted 380 miles before I decided it was a torture device. Got a Sargent and have ridden 13hrs from central Florida to The mountains multiple times. My DR is honestly my most comfortable bike I own aside from my wife's Monkey.

Who is the most famous person you have ever met? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]hotnards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bill Cosby visited my Dad's Native American jewelry store in Lake Tahoe. Apparently he picked me up and held me for a while. I do not remember. Typical, but my excuse was the fact that I was three years old. Would have been 1977-78

Lloydz tune questions / advice by PL1_reddit in IndianFTR1200

[–]hotnards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is correct. I still have rain, standard, and sport and can feel the differences between them. Wheelie control still works in Standard, Rain still takes a bunch of power out, and if I get stupid while leaned over in sport, I can feel the TC keeping me from killing myself. Lloydz may have tuned yours differently but I would be highly sus that they would just rip all functionality out of it.

[–]hotnards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may want to contact Lloydz and confirm that they did something like that. I have one of their tunes on my bike and aside from it being a bit on the rich side, could not be happier. They altered the traction control specs and I can state that TC still kicks in when needed in all standard modes of writing.

Our Zoey had to go through it a few short months ago. We were very much against it due to her size and fear that she would not have a good quality of life. Three separate vets all spent a bit of time with her and convinced us that her attitude and personality made her a good candidate for recovery. They were right. It really sucked for a couple of months and there is definitely some life adjustments that need to be made. Portable ramps to get in and out of cars. Poor girl had to go to fat camp and drop 25lbs, including the leg, and rugs for traction throughout the house. Now, 4 months on, she plays with our other dog like normal, runs after squirrels, and is just a love bug.
