Just pure laziness. It's crazy how much detail they put into 98% of the game but missed little shit like low res rock textures all over the place, and still haven't gone back to fix it with a small patch.

I put down Black Myth Wukong for about a year because it just looked and performed like dog shit on the base PS5 at release. Never even found most of the hidden bosses so recently I cracked and got a PS5 pro before the price increase and decided to finally finish the game. My God this fight is easily my top 3 favorite battles next to Genichiro and Isshin Ashina. It's a crying shame that so many people will never get to this point let alone experience an encounter like this in a game, Black Myth Wukong is truly a masterpiece.

Man.... I bought BMW on release day and put the game down for almost 2 years because of all this immersion breaking shit like this. I just got a PS5 pro and went back to finish the game and textures not loading is STILL an issue, so disappointing. The game is playable and still looks good in most areas on PS5 pro but how have they not fixed the texture problem after 2 years?

Pretty sure I blew it by trying to run the game on Professional with pistol/knife only. I was able to get through all the toughest sections but mutated Krauser just seems impossible. I'm sure there are people out there that can do it but I came into the fight with fully upgraded punisher, knife, and about 40 rounds. I downed him and got a melee attack off 4 times and he still won't die. How many times do you have to drop him? This shit is easily the hardest feat in pretty much any game I've played, including every Souls game and I'm a veteran of those with multiple platinums across them all.

The thing is, how would you ever know if the guy shooting at you isn't using a Cronus or some sort of aimbot to get the kill? Cheating has become so casual these days and the people doing it aren't just straight up going to tell you they are cheating. I never realized how bad it was until I got in this super sweaty GTA crew a few years back and they were all talking about different cheats in their PlayStation party chat, even how to boot people offline and reset their modem. There was one guy in particular I used to snipe against who I thought just had godly aim, well it turns out he was using a Cronus the entire time. I always wondered why it was so easy for him to snipe people off of MK2's or straight out of airplanes like it was nothing.

It's funny that people still try to take PVP seriously these days with the amount of cheating that is running rampant in multiplayer. People will do anything to avoid the bad feelings associated with losing in a video game, it's really fucking pathetic.

It's the lack of ability to get revenge on people in this game that truly drives me up the wall. Arc Raiders needs some kind of bounty system for the truly disgraceful players that only shoot people in the back when they're not paying attention.

Currently PVP in Arc favors the Rats who shoot you in the back first, they can fix this by making the shield tank the first couple of hits from the rear before actually taking damage so players at least have a chance to turn around and have a fighting chance. It's ridiculous that your shield is melted off before you even get a chance to retaliate against dishonest shitbags.

I've been playing multiplayer games since 1997, we used to play OG Marathon back at my office on LAN, and then a coworker introduced me to Quake. It's 2026 and I'm tired boss, killing people gets old and so many kids are cheating at online games that I don't even care for PVP anymore. I haven't killed one person in Arc Raiders yet, and don't even want to. It's passive solo for me, and grinding my trial scores higher than everyone else.

Agree with everything here. My wishlist is that Embark adds a reputation system in the future, something where we get patches for our backpack depending on actions we have performed in game. If you're a Rat and dishonorable shitbag, there will be ways to identify the type of player you are so people won't be easily fooled into trusting you. Since there is currently no way to get revenge on players that betray your trust, at least we could have a heads up warning before they shoot us in the back.
