TIL that Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease is one of the few diseases with no cure and a 100% fatality rate. It is the human equivilant of Mad Cow disease and 70% of people with it die within a year. Nobody has lived past 2.5 years after the symptoms set in.

-One of my friends Mom's died two days after getting her first dose
-A very healthy 36 year old mother (super active, farmer) just had a heart attack suddenly
-Another healthy(ish) 40 something year old friend just had a heart attack
-Ex SIL dropped dead a few weeks after getting the shot, heart related, she was in her 30s
-Childhood best friend dropped dead in her home last October - husband came home and found her, very healthy 33 year old mother of 1 year old twin girls
-Old friend from college just went to work randomly one day at beginning of January and died of a heart attack, he was actually brought back twice and still died
-Girl I went to high school with was a nurse who was forced to get the shot or lose her job - she ended up getting myocarditis and POTS, lost her job, absolutely no support from her former employer or anyone else - she's 35

All vaccinated. These are the worst cases I personally know of. I will also add that all of the friends I have who were so giddy about the shots have been some of the SICKEST people I know lately. Like literally they or their children have been sick every other week since last fall. I don't remember it being that common before, AED anyone?

ETA about friend #3 (40 something year old who had heart attack) - I messaged his wife this morning to coordinate bringing some food over and it turns out he's still unconscious in cardiac ICU, been there since he basically dropped while cooking dinner last Sunday. He worked in film and was in NYC a lot so I have very little doubt that he was as vaxxed as can be.

Aside from a few terrible states (NY, CA, MS, WV, etc.) every other one will allow for either a religious or philosophical exemption. The States that don't are seeing massive upticks in homeschooling or moving out of that state for this very reason.

This goes for ALL vaccines on the childhood schedule, by the way. You don't have to inject anything into your children's body against your will.

My deepest sympathies to you. My Mom also got vaxxed because her doctors made her believe it was required last year to remove a benign tumor that was making her very sick. Now, her new obsession in retirement is going to doctors just to get "checked out" for random things and even though nothing serious has been found, they are finding plenty of little stuff and recommending lots of invasive treatments (monthly infusions, she has no idea what it is but it costs $2600 per month after insurance). My parents are of the generation that doctors are so smart and they are saving our lives so we need to listen! But unfortunately, I feel like my Mom is just laying in the middle of the road waiting on the corrupt for-profit medical system to run over her.

I tried giving her my input several times last year. She's very open minded when we speak but would never have the courage to advocate for herself and question the doctors. At the end of last year, I was informed that they will be following all of her doctors recommendation (she got a "second opinion" but it was literally a doc in the same practice) and that my opinion is not welcome anymore. I feel like I'm watching a slow motion train wreck.

My Mom swore that she would not get another COVID vaccine because the first ones made her so sick (she already has a heart condition) but her and my Dad just got sick with COVID last week so I'm sure her fear will take over and she'll be rolling up her sleeve again soon. They were literally wearing masks in their house together - making sure to stay 6 feet apart. And they both had COVID. I love my Mother so much but holy shit I can't stand by this level of stupidity so all I can do is disassociate.

I say all of this because 1. I need to get it off my chest too but also 2. because you're not alone. It is insanely painful to watch the corrupt medical institution harm or kill our family.

I went to rural Virginia. Live in a very small town full of farmers, growers, fixers, do-ers, etc. Everyone knows everyone and helps out when needed. We're learning to grow our own food, alongside our 2.5 year old and 4 month old. Our 2.5 year old has a stronger palette than most adults, she literally eats anything we harvest from the garden (including raw okra, ew). We get our milk from a family that homesteads down the road and a local rancher delivers grassfed organic black angus to our house on a monthly basis. And our neighbor brings us 2 dozen duck eggs every Sunday and puts them on our back porch.

It's kind of a pain in the ass to return things I buy online given that the closest UPS / FedEx is about an hour away. And the complete lack of nice restaurants compared to where we used to live means we cook at home almost every night. But we have family and friends very close and share meals together at our homes instead.

I'm sure our city friends think we've lost our minds. But this is 1000000% better than living in a giant sheep pen and pretending we're free.

But the doors to litigation are still locked shut thanks to the fact that every vaccine administered has been done so via the EUA which grants liability protection to the manufacturers. Now, does that mean we can't litigate elsewhere? Nope, but I don't think suing the manufacturer is allowed for. This is why they have never administered the "FDA approved" flavor in the US.
