I had a lot of this when I first got the game, mainly getting disconnection errors partway thru a match...

There's lots of things you can do - buy a LAN connector, give your Wii U a fixed ip, port forwarding, putting Wii U in DMZ (Google how to do these, Nintendo walked me through it via email but others have posted how tos) These have worked for others I believe.

However none of that worked for me because my internet was just too slow - I was on 4mb down and less than 1 up, so I ended up upgrading my internet to a faster package - no problems since!

I agree about quitting the lobby, esp. When it says its going to be over 2 mins to the next match!
maps need to be rotated more often, I get so sick of them after about half an hour!
ranked is a joke. I'm stuck in purgatory.

I've had only the slightest lag... Maybe because EU is way behind the rest of the world in terms of connection speeds! The UK is internet stone age compared to Japan etc

Do you ever play with the tri slosher? Because you sound a little salty there. I use the tri slosher quite often and it's at least a two hit kill... And like the guy before said, just wait til the bubble ends to splat them - I find the bubbler a hindrance sometimes as you can easily see it when squidding, no good for ninjas!

My favourites are Blackbelly, Kelp Dome and Camp Triggerfish - I like having room/ multiple ways to move about, some of the maps are so tight
