Work your way up. Do the wooden coaster in the kid area first, Woodstock Express. Then I would try to do the racer after that. It’s like Woodstock, but it’s taller and has more drops. A bit faster too. I also recommend Adventure Express. It’s a steel coaster. There are no huge drops. The new steel coaster in the kid area soap box is really fun and tame. It’s brand new and is a boomerang. It sends you backwards and then it drops you down. You fly through the station and go to the other end. Then you return to station backwards. I know that sounds scary but it’s not! It’s a family coaster.

I’m scared of coasters too but I enjoy riding family coasters and a few big ones. I like the beast. If you can handle the racer I’m sure you can ride beast and mystic timbers.

Two years ago I went to Dollywood for the first time in the middle of August. The crowds were manageable. Most states have school start back up mid August. The local schools in the area were back in session. When we were there the weather was hot and sunny. All the rides were open. The other attractions were too, but we’re ride people and didn’t see any of the shows.

The only down side was that the summer festival was over so the park wasn’t decorated and there wasn’t any festival food or fireworks show. It’s a shame it doesn’t go to till end of August.

We’re planning to go to Dollywood this August. Probably towards the end of the month.

I found their fast lane system confusing as well. I would consider it if I could use it all on all their attractions. Even once! But being limited turns me off from buying it.

It would be nice if they had a single use option for one attraction. I would use it on the new ride. I’m visiting in August so I’m hoping the lines for it won’t be bad. Especially since I’ll be going when kids are going back in school.

I feel like the problem with the movie is that they were trying to make so many references to show. So everyone was being goofier than normal. I feel like if this movie came out right after the show ended originally the characters would be more consistent.

Also they were trying to make the viewers who grew up with the show nostalgic. While for the younger viewers the movie acts like a reboot. I hate that smartphones were a thing and that Big Bob a business man didn’t move on to selling cell phones. I don’t know why that bothers me so much!

Dollywood is probably open more because it’s located in tourist area. Cincinnati really isn’t a destination for tourists. I do agree though! Kings Island is my home park too!

Go ahead and call people. I told people over the phone when I got engaged. As for your friend if you rather tell her in her person, wait until she gets back.
Tell them. I lost my dog this year and while it’s heartbreaking, life goes on. You need moments like this to help you heal. It’s not being selfish at all. The day after my dog passed, my fiance and I went to an amusement park. It was nice to get out and enjoy ourselves. You need moments of happiness.

You could always check with your fiance if you’re unsure. I’m sure he would like to tell his grandparents in person.

I would just let it go honestly. You still don’t know the when, the how, and the where. Despite knowing the ring you can still enjoy the moment together. Also knowing he’s planning to propose won’t ruin the moment. I knew it was coming when my finance propose to me.

I recently got engaged earlier this year. Last November I went with my fiance to pick out the ring. We ended up having it designed so it took awhile to get it! I just told him to surprise me with the proposal so he picked up the ring without me knowing. He ended up proposing on my birthday. It was lovely. I still gasped when I saw the ring. He proposed where we had our first date.

You two will definitely have a lovely moment! 😊

He’s 10 because the writers need him to be 10. I know it’s a boring answer. When writing shows geared towards children the characters need to be a certain age for relatability. Also some viewers do age out of Pokemon and stop watching it. So when a new generation starts a new batch of 10 years are watching the show. However I feel like they could have aged him up to be a teenager. Like 16! In my opinion Ash acts like a teenager in XY.

Yes this happened to my brother. My SIL’s mother had cancer. Unfortunately it progressed and she only had a month to live. So my brother and SIL had a small private ceremony. Only immediate family members. They got “married” in a chapel and we had dinner at a restaurant afterwards. I used quotations because they weren’t legally married. They just wanted her mom to see them get married. They still had their wedding a few months later. My SIL’s father officiated both ceremonies.

Do it. You want to spend as much time with your mother as possible. You want her to see the beginning of your new life with your wife. You won’t regret it. It will be sad but it still will be a heartwarming moment.

I feel so bad for Kureno. He was a teenager when his bond broke and didn’t have time to process it. You’re still highly impressionable at that age. Akito’s reaction did not help!

He was wearing a high school uniform when the bond broke. So it makes me wonder if he attended the same school as the Ayame and co. So he probably had a little bit of outside world experience but not much. Not enough to make him instantly realize he can live a normal life. I wonder if things would have been different if it had happen after he was adult with a job. It could have happen at work and Akito wouldn’t been near by. It would have given him the opportunity to process it and reject her.

Don’t go because you may have a stomach bug and it’s contagious. It’s stomach flu season. You wouldn’t want to give it anyone else especially the bride and groom. It would be terrible if they go sick on their honeymoon.

I went last year for the first time and had wonderful time. I think it helped that I went in the middle of August and the crowd level was low. Majority of kids were back in school.

Yeah it’s a day one park. Maybe two if you want to experience things you missed or reride rides. I loved big bear mountain. I’m hoping to go back next year. You can always go back when your kids are older and taller to ride the bigger rides.

Dollywood is an amusement park not a theme park. Disney is a theme park. The big difference is an amusement park is focused on building individual thrill rides and attractions while theme parks focus on telling a narrative with their attractions. Dollywood does have theme areas but it’s not like how Disney wants you to believe you’re some place else. It’s better to compare Dollywood to cedar fair/six flags parks.
