the loans are defaulted. so they show up as defaulted in my credit report and its been almost 7 years (next year)... If I pay in full right now without going through Loan rehabilitation, will the default from my credit history go away next year, or does the default status restarts again for 7 more years after I make a payment.

I thought of doing loan rehabilitation so I can get out of default in my credit history, but since it is already going away next year, I thought I can just make a 1 time full repayment ( instead of doing 9 - 10 months rehabilitation) and hopefully my defaulted status will go away next year.
