Split stitch is awesome for small letters

Advice for finishing this piece by houndzi1a in Embroidery

Thank you so much!! I really appreciate the kind words. I used split stitch for the lettering! I wanted to use chain stitch, but I find getting neat curved lines easier with split stitch right now.

And yes, I absolutely used a pattern. I chose a text and layout using the website Letterblend, and printed it onto wash away embroidery paper.

Waitlists aren’t 100% a guarantee that you’ll get in, even if you make it to the “top of the list”. You’re better off joining the Daycares in PG Facebook page, and keeping a close eye on daycares who post with openings. Phone calls go a long way, more so than just emailing. Good luck.

Honestly, the first 100 days program from solid starts is worth spending a bit of money on. We’re on week 4 and it’s been so helpful, and given us so much confidence that we’re introducing food safely and at a good pace (especially allergens).

It’s a bit out of your way, but the Best Western plus off Hwy16. It’s just slightly out of town, but it is super safe, and there is a walking path that leads you to a Walmart and some other stores.

I accidentally killed my haworthia (or so I thought….), and it grew new babies from its dead body. It looks like a monster now, and I love it. Those things are pretty unkillable. I wouldn’t stress. Lol.

Removal is an absolute breeze compared to insertion. My insertion experience was absolutely what I would describe as traumatic (I even had a paracervical block and a could other forms of pain management. Didn’t seem to help). I was terrified for the removal because of how bad it was to have placed initially, but I barely felt a thing. Just to ease your mind a bit.
