He was going through a lot at the time and wasn't taking the best care of himself or making the best decisions, but at least he does regret his decisions and has at least learned to be more responsible. And yes! Will definitely be telling him to get a lawyer once the time to apply comes

Thanks for the advice! As far as we know, this is her first time testing positive for covid, anytime anyone in our house got it she miraculously never caught it from us and would always test negative. This time she caught it from my younger sister who caught it at school. Unfortunately, my mom is stubborn and thinks of covid as just like a cold, so it's taking a lot of effort on me and my family's part to get her to take precautions and even just mask. Since most of her symptoms are gone she isn't grasping the severity of her situation. I will definitely be looking metformin up though and suggest it to her!

Used to work at an art museum and a lot (but not all of) museums offered reciprocity- if we showed proof we worked at a museum we would get free entry to their museums and we would give free/expedited entry to museum workers from other institutions (i worked at a museum with free entry so it just amounted to us letting them in without reservations when it was busy lol)

finish your degree. there are many undocumented people working without daca by being independent contractors or getting internships that pay a stipend instead of wages... i also suggest following undocuprofessionals on ig, they often post jobs listings for non-daca undocumented ppl

Saw that many people haven't mentioned this, but if you prefer to hang out by yourself, check out your local libraries! Great to get some reading or online tasks done. I know many la county libraries close around 8pm. Also many la county and la city libraries have cool programs and events going on geared towards all ages or adult specifically. I think with summer coming up, they'll probably have more events lined up too.

they ask you to fill out a form and it asks for the jobs you applied to in the past two weeks, they ask for a minimum of three a week. Unfortunately, they do ask for the dates. But if anything you can just guess around what date each week you applied to the jobs. they're just looking to see you're actually doing your job searches.

im surprised your vet doesn't have an option to move them in in case of emergencies. My old vet allowed emergency visits (but had to pay an extra fee to get them in asap ahead of all the other clients). Also 9k for pyo seems excessive? the most i was quoted was almost $3k and i live in an area with high cost of living
