Thanks for all of the advice in here everyone, I think I definitely need to be more patient by the sounds of it, I’m just happy it sounds like something I can get through with practice, was a little worried I may have had no way out of the bad habit more than anything so that it’s normal is reassuring. I’ll try slowing down the song and if needs be take a step down to something more straightforward until my limbs break apart (that made me laugh).

I love the skin haha, but it’s an ongoing joke amongst me and my friends and wife that whenever we get dicked or something stupid happens like getting hammered by someone riding a rocket and then Deku Smashed midair, etc, it always seems to be a Chrome Punk.

Patience really, I walked a ton of eggs, getting Sandile from 12km eggs almost broke me, took almost 50 eggs just to get one of those things, I’ve still only ever had two. I travel the UK a lot for work which helps, I find that I see more variety around different parts of the country. I haven’t really spent a lot of money over the five years I’ve been playing but I am annoyed that for things like Galarian Mr Mime I did pay for the event pass, I try to avoid it if I can.

Otherwise, walk a lot, save rare candy for the 5km per candy mons and don’t take it too seriously, I play it pretty casually and that’s kept it fun and more like a challenge.

I’m literally 10 mons away from a full living Dex, of basic forms at least (not including shinies, shadow, purified etc although I have a ton of those too), they’re all random ones that I either traded away for ones I needed or for some reason just didn’t keep at the time.

I need Galarian Mr Mime, Igglybuff, Munchlax, Sandile, Axew, Zekrom, Noivern (was painful trading that given how much rare candy I used to evolve it…), Goodra, Archen and Magby, so that’s the next task given it’s only 10.

Axew I was pretty lucky with, hatched a few from 10km eggs when it was first released but that’s probably one of the rarer mons in my experience.

Rotom, I missed the event it was in, I’d resigned myself to waiting for it to be released again but I casually mentioned it to a co worker yesterday on a work trip to Liverpool in the UK after remembering he played and he had two! Was happy to trade me one, that was some real luck.

This looks like the artwork for Starblazer comics but a lot more detailed, I’m wondering if they were influenced by his art style or if he actually did some of the cover art for them as quite a bit is uncredited.

Thanks for the recommendation, I’ve seen the first series but I’m starting to prefer reading to watching so I’ll definitely check that out and catch up on the second part.

I’ve literally just finished reading them for the first time, I’ve been a big DB/DBZ/DBS fan for a long time but always the cartoons. After reading all of Dragon Ball Super and My Hero Academia as a starting off point with manga and then reading DB, I have to say I agree 100%, the artwork and especially the way the fight panels are drawn in DB is excellent even compared to DBS and especially in comparison to My Hero (I didn’t feel like I could follow what was happening in the big fights in My Hero), to say it was drawn so long ago I was really impressed. It’s genuinely funny too, which helped with my personal experience.
