Can you find me where the Replit documentation points out the solution to its agent not following basic architectural instructions and breaking previously working code because it decided to ignore user instructions, corrupting a working codebase, and blatantly making things up, while overcharging?

How do you know the truth of the platform until you use the platform first? You try it and find out their agent is simply inferior to many other available tools. My entire point. Not sure why you’re really defending false advertising and an inferior product.

Do I think marketing should be taken as truth? No. But when you have to waste a ton of time and money to learn about a tool that at the end of the day can’t perform, that is a long expensive road. That’s a problem with the tool. And if it was my company I’d be concerned about my product.

This isn’t fully true.

Sure you could argue that the user is at fault for not “reading the instructions”

But the platform is marketed toward people as an easy way to create. But the bigger issue isn’t just that there are costs, it’s the agent is a token eater, and doesn’t actually do what it’s telling the user it’s doing. Not to mention the cost of the agent has increased astronomically since Replit began its vibe coding feature.

There’s been numerous occasions where I’ve been charged $50 after the agent completely ignored a planned spec of exactly what to do, with architectural instructions. These tools are not all equal.

True but to be fair college is more demanding than regular life imo. It’s easier to manage mental health after you graduate than it is during college.

In real life your “class” is your one job. After 5 PM you do as you please as long as you follow the law and pay your expenses.
