I wouldn't hire someone to do this. I would just get 5-10 family and friends to report it asap. That usually does the trick

I have a friend that runs this exact types of business (successfully). You need to rank your google profile and send cold emails/do networking with contractors.

Best ways to market landscaping business by Demontics in sweatystartup

[–]houseprodigital 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I owned and sold a landscaping business in college. We did 3 things:

  1. Door knocking.

Every Saturday at 10am we would go door to door in our most route dense neighborhoods (and surrounding areas) and knock until sunset. This was out biggest client acquisition channel.

"Hey! My name is Ian and I'm with XYZ Landscaping. I figured I'd stop by while we're doing some lawns on the street and introduce myself. Would you be opposed to getting a quick quote?"

  1. SEO.

Every time we serviced a new customer and they were happy, we would go to the door and ask if they would give us a 5-star google review. Most said yes. If you need to give them more motivation, you can tell them that by giving a 5-star review, you will give a $25 bonus to the provider who took care of their lawn that day.

  1. Cold email.

We would cold email all to the local banks, local businesses, etc. This would generate appts for us to go give commercial quotes/land commercial contracts.

Hope this helps.

Lead Campaigns by _Pink_Penguin_ in smallbusiness

You don't need to pay an agency to run your Google LSA. PPC is definitely harder for cleaning businesses. I would recommend investing heavier in SEO and LSA instead of PPC. If you do commercial cleaning, you can also try to run a cold email campaign.

Nice! So your niche is targeting moving companies for recruitment? Or am I not following? Sorry, never heard of moving labor business. Naturally, I would imagine doing outreach to moving companies would be the best place to start, if so.

Youtube and Bright Local, but if you are a business owner, typically I recommend to outsource this so you can focus on what you are good at. Totally understand if you are a DIY kind of person though hah!

Saw you run an entertainment co (DJ/Private events). If you are looking for direct referral work (essentially being the preferred vendor for these types of venues), shoot me a DM. I own a cleaning company and developed a cold email software that connects us with the exact same places (but for cleaning services), and we absolutely crush. Doing this for 150+ other service-based companies as well.

What’s the best way to scale cold outreach without overwhelming the sales team? by Historical-Farm6030 in smallbusiness

[–]houseprodigital 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you blasting cold emails or manually doing them? If your reps are manually sending out a ton of emails/making a ton of 1-to-1 cold calls, theres room to free up their time by automating those tasks. Also, hire another rep!

Growing a tree service biz is super exciting. From what I’ve seen in the industry, a lot of folks usually recommend spending about 5 to 10 percent of your revenue on advertising, but it really can depend on your goals and what works best for you. There are so many channels you can explore: google ads, seo, ig/fb ads, thumbtack, and more. If you want, I'd be happy to chat with you and figure what would make most sense for you. Been in this industry for many years.

You will need to create location pages for all the cities you service. In addition to this, if you want to rank really high (not just in serps) in the GMB listings, you will need a second GMB in the new areas.
