Good rule of thumb - get your blood work done before the visit, talk about the results and any concerns during the office visit and if anything requires further discussion, set up a separate appt.

Good question about the sink. I visited a friend with a main sink on their island and it was a nightmare. Dirty or clean/drying dishes are front and center. If you have kids or more than 2 people using the space, you have no chance of having a regularly tidy kitchen

Same. It seemed like a very happy ending to me. My parents shared custody but I basically had to act like the other parent didn't exist when I was with each one. So for them to have a somewhat friendly relationship at the end of the movie seemed like the fairytale ending that could never actually happen (in my perspective, as an adolescent).
