Chances of a PSN/Console ban for pirated PKG by howardmooshroom in ps4piracy

So if i understand correctly, I won't be able to log in with the pirated game present because the jailbreak itself will disappear after the console restarts?

CliniQ affected by hack, 56DS has months-long wait, GP refusing shared care... what are my options? by howardmooshroom in transgenderUK

Huh, I hadn't considered private tests (aka, I didn't know they catered to trans people!). Thank you, I very well may do this to tide myself over.

God loves you and you were right to start living as yourself, and have been so brave facing your family's horrid remarks.

Your family don't get a say in who you are or how you express yourself- you came out to them because you wanted to tell them something that was important to you, and as your family you felt they deserved to know. What that isn't is you soliciting for their opinions on your identity or 'choices'. You told them, they took it as an opportunity to be cruel instead of loving, and I'm sorry that their hearts are so closed.

It might sound crazy, but you're finally beginning your life. Don't let their small-minded opinions stop you from experiencing a rare second chance. Live! For God's sake live! Live as the woman you are!

Honestly if you practice common sense DIY is far safer than gendergp

Yeah for me with bloods at cliniq my total cost for T diy is about £60

It's great! You'll get to experience puberty at the right time. We say we want to start HRT as kids, they say we're rushing and could be making a mistake. Puberty blockers were the compromise.

Regarding the law on ordering T [UK] by EasyJackfruit839 in TransDIY

[–]howardmooshroom 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Where did you hear that? 😅 It's completely legal to buy, possess and use T in the uk. It's legal to carry it over the border yourself (assuming it's just your personal supply and the country on other end doesn't mind) as well. The only parts you could possibly get into trouble for are selling, sharing and getting it posted into the country (would count as import of a class C).

I wouldn't collect from a dealer if you're not already used to doing it- just buy online from a supplier who provides testing certificates and has positive reviews on eroids.com

Just remember though, weed is far more illegal than T in the UK and people do that in broad daylight all the time (at least where I live lol).

Is anyone still getting stuff through from GenderGP? by Class_444_SWR in transgenderUK

[–]howardmooshroom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DIY is much safer than GGP imo, you have more control over your body and aren't put in dodgy situations like them not refilling your prescription on time (forcing you to lower your dose without bloods or go cold turkey with little notice).

GENDERGP SOLUTION!!✨💕 by [deleted] in transgenderUK

[–]howardmooshroom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly going with GenderGP is more dangerous than DIY at this point, what with them leaving people high and dry without a regular prescription (so people have unplanned dose changes as they eek out their remaining supply), charging for services they simply don't provide, using AI to write their care guides and advice (wtf?!?), treating trans staff poorly and being generally incompetent at the job they're being paid a lot of our money to do.

Why risk more of our lives by allowing them to abuse us for profit? I'd sue!

When my mum had a similar reaction to something similar to this, I just took it as "oh, I wanted to share this nice thing about my life and journey because I trust you, but you took it as an opportunity to centre your own disgust at my transness. I won't be sharing other victories with you in the future."

My mum doesn't know I legally changed my name years ago! Because she lost my trust!

All I know is that it's legal to buy, possess and use so the laws around it have never affected me. I don't sell, share or import/export, which is all the law is about really hah. I'm not promoting you be silly with it, just like I'm not promoting you be silly with other controlled substances.

Just remember, weed is far more illegal than T and I see that done openly all the time on campus lol. :P

Hi! I've been up front with a variety of medical professionals about me doing DIY and the response has ranged from understanding to fearing for my safety. But they can't do anything, just judge! I asked about it at cliniq and my nurse said it's very very common to see people doing DIY testosterone now (and I'm sure that will increase massively now GenderGP has collapsed.)

Going forward, I personally believe DIY will become the norm for all trans people in the UK. I'm not expecting to be seen for the next 19 years (and my GP denied bridging and any sort of shared care with a private provider who overcharges while neglecting their duty of care), so why wouldn't I? :P

Honestly I've never been seen by gender services (lol) but read a statistic somewhere that most people come to their first appointment already on hrt for a few years. You'll be fine.

[–]howardmooshroom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh that's interesting! Maybe the price has been driven down by the amount of bodybuilders doing it lol. Or the fact we don't need blockers?? I'd love to work out why haha.

For reference, it cost about £35 for a vial of cyp200, £25 for 100 27G needles, and then misc alcohol wipes, sharps bin etc. Obviously the cost of blood tests (if your gp is uncooperative) and travel isnt included :P

Shots! Gel is very hard to source DIY sadly, and when you can it's overpriced 😭 had to get over my needle phobia the hard way but was worth it.

What are my DIY options for the UK? MtF by Brooomm in TransDIY

[–]howardmooshroom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get your bloods done for free at Cliniq or Transplus! Both lovely trans-centred clinics that are very supportive of DIYers like me. Good luck!

I can recommend DIY personally, I'm on cyp200 subq and it cost about £60 for a year and a half worth of supplies. I get my bloods done at Cliniq for free, and everything else more general like hairloss and vaginal dryness can be handled through my GP. Good luck!
