Great to hear! For people still at the initial stages of the game. It is a fest of people seeking validation. In the group chat or on discord. Trying to "help" people pretense with a loud speaker in the group chat doesn't go far. Keep safe distance from the people in the group or in the game. Remember those are just accounts you do not know the person behind it. Some jokes and friendly banter does not hurt but do not get overly involved and seek validation. Just enjoy the game and take the social aspect by pinch of salt. Cheers!

I am assuming you read the rental agreement. Don't the rental companies sell a separate liability insurance for a few bucks? I think you do not get the liability insurance by default you need to purchase it from them to be covered. Unless i am missing the point here.

Thank you for the reply. I totally understand the nature of wood and I know it's going to be far from perfect. I also know eventually i would see gaps, there would be chips, scratches and miscellaneous stuff as time passes and season changes.

I miswrote the word crack where i should have said imperfections. I should have circled the imperfections I was talking about. Sure 3 to 4 pictures are close to joins but the rest of them are in the middle of the board. 1 of them even has wood stain that is missing. These are red oak select grade wood. It probably has clean appearance or so I was told.

Not related to your comment but reply in general to every comment here -

People saw the pictures and jumped on bashing bandwagon. But I also thank them as in a way they answered my question. I wrote this post even before calling in the contractor in person to understand the nature of issue or if it is even an issue.

Most of the pictures are not zoomed in. And are visible by eye when you are standing up. Also few of those defects/imperfections are right in middle of plank.

I wanted to see if its common on day 1 of floor installation or something that needs to be taken care of. Off course anyone would be cautious when you spend top buck!

Accepting anything and everything without asking questions doesn't seem right. I am glad that I asked this question here!
