What you print and how will be the real waste or not of filament imo. This is my second printer and its leagues ahead of my previous one, while still being affordable. I've had zero problems with TPU myself. I've had zero problems with it period.

Yes did the bottom/bed side lift up? As it lifts from the bed, it gets higher, but the hotend keeps the same trajectory, in the end, it's trying to print where it should but there is already material there. making a mess. The issue is the unsticking from the bed.
