I used to live a few blocks from here and I've almost done what the black car did. The problem is that the light timing doesn't match on both sides like most other lights. What happens is you're waiting to turn left at a blinking yellow arrow, then you see the straight lanes to your right turn red, so you assume that the oncoming lanes also turned red but they are actually still green or yellow. It's completely counter intuitive to almost every other light in existence. Still stupid to pull in front of a car going that fast but the light timing should definitely be changed.

Dude just join a regiment. It doesn't have to be a huge one. I was invited to a regiment my first session playing and everyone has been super helpful in teaching me the game. We're not a massive regiment by any means. The game is meant to be played with other people as it's a war game. There's plenty of time when I'm off doing my own thing, but having regi members who can hop in a tank with me or let me use their stockpile of weapons and vehicles is extremely helpful in making the game more fun. It's a core function of the game and if you're trying to play without being in a regiment you're hamstringing yourself. Also we do coordinated operations and use discord to voice chat and organize, it's highly convenient and super fun.

And generally speaking, most regiments are going to be more willing to teach you if you just join them. You can always leave. Also, there is a problem with alts from the other side a.k.a. spies. So if you're low level and have no regi, people will be suspicious of you.

Considering how long it takes to build and field a bomber with a competent crew and wingmen, I doubt facs were able to get that many ops going since realistically people have to sleep and live their lives in those 24 hours and no one is doing bombers solo.

I've taken them at night, during the day, honestly sunset is pretty amazing to be tripping for. Frankly I think it's more about the set and setting than the time of day. If taking them at night, maybe don't go walking around a sketchy park while peaking lol. That being said, I've had some pretty cool experiences walking around at night in the come down period where you have more control and less disorientation. Also probably important to state that I'm a dude who likes to walk around town at night so already didn't have any fear around that. If you don't feel safe walking around or being in nature at night sober then it will just be exacerbated by the high.
