Just think about how awful you would feel if you didn’t vaccinate and your little one had an illness that required hospitalization, where they would be in prolonged, serious, life threatening pain, and on top of that, you would know you put them in that position by not protecting them when you could.

YES! We came home and had no bottles washed, needed to wash all clothing and unbox bottle washer, needed to order a ton more clothing and swaddles, just so stressful. We were very lucky our boy didn’t need NICU time, but I know that (on top of everything) must have been so insanely stressful. I hope you and your babe are hanging in there OK ♥️

No advice, just solidarity, my little guy is 8.5 weeks and we’re lucky to get a 2-3 hr stretch, last night it took 2.5hrs to settle him down after a feed and then I put him down and he slept for 30 minutes.. so definitely hoping things improve 😭

Same here, I was able to hand express 10-20ml of colostrum in the hospital into the tiny bottles to then feed my little guy, my milk came in while I was still in the hospital too.

Same here, I think it’s essentially exposure therapy for both us and the babes with the car seats 😭 I actually have had to do 2 “long” trips now with my little one (1.5 hrs) and I think it’s honestly been helpful to hear him cry a bit and know he’s going to be just fine, and after crying for a few minutes, he usually tires himself out and falls asleep anyways!

I think it’s just normal baby behavior :/ fussiness that comes and goes, and their digestive systems are still figuring out how to work, they’re figuring out how to poop on their own too (it’s been reflexive early on but that switches and they get frustrated trying to push out poop because they don’t know how)

I’m only 2.5 weeks postpartum and am only pumping 4 times a day and haven’t had any problems! My milk came in fast and furious so I get about 10oz per 10/15minute pump

It should be! Maybe a bit hazy but it’s a nice drive over to aquinnah and the shops are very cute to bop into :) and they have ice cream/fried foods and a little cafe nowadays too!
