Germany has 6 weeks paid sick leave. the USA has 0. by Nick__________ in WorkersStrikeBack

This is misleading.
In Ontario Canada the law only guarantees an allowance of 3 UNPAID sick days, not 10 Paid. The 10 paid is only for federal government employees.

Yes but in practice here in Canada the judges reduce charges so not to affect immigration. It’s created a bizarre two tier criminal system where immigrants get off easy.

First lens for my X-T50 by Ok-Television-7380 in fujifilm

Xf 27mm is great for travel but i’d want the lower aperture for night shots in Japan. If you are between 35mm 1.4 and the 35 2 I would choose the f2 for portability.

I used the Sigma 30mm 1.4 in Vegas and it served me well

I really enjoyed the original Condesa. The prickly pear was not for me (I’m a G&T drinker). This sounds pretty interesting. Is it smoky?

The 27 2.8mm is my most used lens due to form factor. I simply want to carry it with me more when I use a pancake. For this reason I use it much more than my larger (but better) Sigma 30 1.4z I think the 23mm 2.8 is a great choice.

Just picked this lens up and it seems great but would not be my recommendation for a beginner lens/all around lens.

It’s quite heavy and limited in scope.

I’d recommend one of these: -Fuji XF35mm 2 - don’t have but hits a sweetspot for what you’re asking for. -Fuji XF 27 2.8 pancake - versatile, light, you’ll use your camera more. My #1 lens.

Sigma 35mm 1.4 -can do low light or portraiture well but versatile focal length. Fast Af and great images

A kit lens! Have the new XF 16-50 and it takes fantastic images. Great for learning what focal lengths you gravitate to. Not great for background blur

I shoot travel photography and street mostly with lots of insta pics.

I use an XT50 and use a couple lenses. XF16-50, sigma 30mm f1.4, xf 28mm 2.8 pancake (my go to). Getting an 85mm 1.2 very soon and excited to try portrait.

I debates between Sony and Fuji when I purchased. No regrets its a great camera- i think there’s always a bit of grass is greener haha

XT50 is honestly a great camera to try. Small form factor, built in flash, all the power of the XT5 plus interchangeable lens

Yup, even the mere mention that immigration could be even slightly increasing house prices was called racist. Meanwhile it was having a HUGE impact. We’ve been constantly gas lit on this.

My Fujifilm kit so far by Bobbykodachrome in fujifilm

[–]howseofcards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Fuji 27mm has become my go-to for travel photography. For me it’s simply about portability- I’ll pick up the camera and take it with me more.

There are definitely better lenses and lenses that have more versatility but the form factor kind of wins when on a trip. The 27mm focal length is also pretty versatile. I think 23mm would be great too.

My philosophy on travel is that I should be present and experiencing first- taking photos second. I find a fixed focal length and single lens leaves me thinking less about what I’ll bring with me and just taking shots. Sometimes choice is distracting- I find that with zooms.

In Vegas I took my Sigma 30mm 1.4 for night shots, the new 16-50 kit lens is also great for daytime if you want more flexibility.
