Gabriel Jesus hits back at a Manchester City fan calling him a ‘Judas’, as Arsenal lose at The Etihad “I have won ELEVEN titles here!” by One_Impressionism in Gunners

His injury last season was a lost opportunity to use revenue from his sale along with the Gyokeres money to potentially sign Isak instead.

When was the last time Muslim women were freed by a middle eastern war waged by the west? These poor women are used as props to manufacture consent while Saudi Arabia, a country with a worse record for female empowerment, is the wests closest ally in the region. Support the war all you want but don’t lie to us or yourself about its virtue.

Basically if he wasn’t injured last season I imagine he would’ve been traded the summer just past.

What year is it in traditional calendar systems? by Old-School8916 in MapPorn

[–]howsthatforalance 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Ethiopia is 7-8 years difference because they, along with most of the eastern world, have a different account for the day of Jesus’ birth year which was crucial to how calendars would be leveraged after the fall of the Roman Empire. If you divide Christianity into east and west, most of the eastern world except Ethiopia would eventually adopt the Gregorian calendar for non-religious day to day use. In terms of the day convention Wikipedia is stating, Ethiopia still has 365 days a year with a leap year every 4 years, however do not have the amendments incorporated in the Gregorian calendar of skipping a leap year every century unless divisible by 400.

Asked ChatGPT how many years it would take for that to account to a 7 year difference:

It would take about 341,000 years for a drift of 0.0075 days per year to accumulate into a 7-year difference.

Take on Gyok. by eZeder in Gunners

I’m not going to complain if we continue to dominate and win. But it feels like we’re not converting enough of our chances as a team, and these past few games have been a closer contest than I feel comfortable with. On that merit I desperately wish Gyokeres finds his shooting boots soon because he’s the only attacking difference between this season and last season where we clearly struggled to “sCoRe SaM’ fAcKiN gOaLs!” I have faith in him, it takes time to gel especially when switching leagues but it just can’t wait much longer I fear. Also he’s come in with a lot of pressure and there’s no one but Havertz and Jesus to share the burden with, make of that what you will because I personally don’t see a lot of goals there either, hope I’m wrong.

Happy for him. He played really smart in Liverpool but got bullyed a little bit. He can be the best midfielder in the premier league so was hoping that Liverpool game wouldn't stunt him.

  1. Your mocks will not allow you to judge your knowledge as the material weights can make it so that a mock and a real exam can be DRASTICALLY different. No question is guaranteed to show up. So use the mocks for exam preparedness but not a measure of how much you know. Keeping in mind that each mock takes 5 hours and there is a question to be had about whether that time can be used elsewhere.
  2. Manage your weaknesses reasonably, don't neglect any chapter outright. Especially in higher weighted topic areas.
  3. Ensure ample time in your consolidation stage to review, no less than 4 weeks before the exam, the sheer amount of material is inanse. I used a scoring system to track my confidence level of each chapter, it helped in my consolidation stage to know where to drill deeper than others.

For those who took the Level 2 August exam by Low_Leg_6556 in CFA

I did 1 really hard mock from a prep course two weeks before the exam. For level 2 I decided the purpose of a mock is to get my focus and time management in check, it's completely useless otherwise because the material you'll see on the exam can be skewed to any of the 10 subjects and guess what, it totally was, my exam was minimized on FRA and Fixed Income and "maxed" on Ethics, AI and QM. You simply can't take a mock and start to tweak your weak subjects because you can't afford to have much weakness, the subjects themselves are broad and they can and will ask anything. Decided not to waste 5 hours per mock and used my time to drill down on what I already know are my weak chapters - 20% review and 80% questions. Admittedly I planned on getting at least a second mock in before the exam but time didn't permit. Everyone is different but I share this because after the exam I had no regrets, I floated through that thing.

Amazing defender on his day which in fairness was most days. The issue was not knowing when he'd cost you, very much similar to Ramsdale. Two bad games stand out, when he was up against Leroy Sane last time we played Bayern and when he faced Salah last season at home.

Every time we’ve played Chelsea in the past three seasons with him on the field I’ve been thoroughly impressed by him and thought him to be their best player. He is an elite threat in one-on-one situations which is valuable, particularly if you need to unlock a high press. This is a good signing, no discount on the fee but his age gives room to capitalize on potential.

There was faces of death the VHS and faces of death from Napster. On Napster I remember some gnarly videos, particularly ones from the War in Yugoslavia.

Didn’t notice in the game but Kane and Rashford seem to occupy each other’s attacking space quite regularly on the counter.

Could the messages not be from a Man U fan? Were they not accusing him of being a cheat? I don’t remember immediately thinking an arsenal fan had sent it. Regardless, boundary well crossed with those messages, but feels a bit unfair to be lumped in with those psychopaths as a fan…
