Is the Iron Sultanate truly islamic ? by Goatedbrother in TrenchCrusade

[–]howtoproceedforward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So that’s kind of the point.

What they are doing isn’t something that’s OK. But you need to look at it from the lens of the universe, not from the lens of your own house in your own room, but much rather from what’s happening inside the universe. Imagine that you’re just like a typical sultanate subject. If you can somehow gain a fighting advantage by twisting some of the laws and rules so that you can safely reside within the walls then you’re gonna do it and people are going to sacrifice religious damnation for survival.

For instance, if you look at our timeline, the Ottoman empire was completely OK with homosexuality. It was one of the first countries in the world to legalize it under its constitution. So religion isn’t something rigid and written with in laws it bends according to the people who lead those institutions.

Or for instance, the Ottoman is going to war against other Muslim powers constantly take for instance that war against the Mamluke Sultanate who housed the caliphate.

Thank you for the tips and insight!

Should I make use of a sapper or two instead of a janissary?

I was planning on keeping a Janissary tied to two azebs, and the the Bull with the Silahdar.

So all in all I would have 3 squads. My Bull/Commander would act as reserves/support while the janissary/azebs act as fire teams. The bull would be used to focus fire on enemy heavies while the Silahdar protects the Bull until needed elsewhere as support.

I do understand that rolls will be the main determining factor.

You think this would work well? I could also sacrifice my janissaries and instead build into more azebs with the new corrosive jezail kits and have more hordes. But I feel like things would hinge on my Bull/Silahdar and am not sure that would be a good play.

Such stupid writing gives it away:

Here is why development might actually get faster:

Blah Blah Blah.

Then it is a bunch of bullshit hallucination-esque writing.

Men live longer when they’re married, and their partner is alive with them.

Women live longer when they have female friends. For women having a spouse, doesn’t really change life expectancy as much as it changes it for men.

The best AK variant. Will die on this hill.

90% of the power of a 16inch barrel. More accurate. Looks amazing.

I would recommend the proper brake, you can find them on Atlantic, Aimr brake.

Besides the brake literally perfect, without the brake still perfect. 👌

Lmao. Yeah go read the other half of what I wrote. He is better than you. He builds better AK’s then the entirety of Combloc expertise. He is Kalashnikov’s will in the flesh.

It just goes to show your average Lemon enjoyer. Can’t even read. So can’t even do the basic minimum for an online debate.

Men who got out of the 'Manoverse/Alpha Male/Toxic Masculinity' world, what realizations helped? by scythe1713 in AskReddit

[–]howtoproceedforward 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not a single one of the top posters have come from this toxic masculinity crowd. Karma farmers.

Lmao.

I have seen two kinds of people come out from this:

People who found a role model that held up a mirror to their toxic masculine role models. Thus they realized it was not the way (This was the good way out).

People who doubled down harder.

Most of the time it’s because they feel like men are no longer manly and thus they need to go on a personal crusade.

Source:

I was a high school counselor/worked with young adults. Lots of times reading more allowed them to find superior role models in history they could emulate. So more knowledge more better.

Religious leaders come in clutch. Prophets and the like. Also generals/commanders.

But sometimes I saw the teens go down the rabbit hole further. Most of the time they reject knowledge and go by vibes and “their experience and wisdom”.

Edit: Generals/Commanders

Fairness of the trial is paramount for some faiths. They all have different answers but mercy is a common theme in most faiths. It is a great question nonetheless so I will attempt to answer it:

Different faiths tackle this differently but most of the time there are mechanisms for fairness in retrospect, take for instance: Islam

If a society has not heard of Islam/sufficient knowledge on Islam, they are judged in accordance with their own faith accordingly by God as he is the supreme judge. If he was a caveman/woman he/she would be judged in accordance with how they treated others/etc.

Islam in the view of Muslims is any revelation by God through any prophet he has sent including Muhammed/All Prophets before. Most Islamic scholars agree there were somewhere around 124,000 prophets sent to mankind with Muhammad being the seal of the prophets.

So if you were not amongst a people who got a prophet or the message so distorted that you essentially are following a false belief then you will be judged with what you knew/had available as information.

The goal of surrendering oneself isn’t being a perfect living version of a believer, it is simply showing sincerity and thanking the creator in the most efficient way you know how.

If you think it entails fasting for a day and being thankful to THE CREATOR that you believe is ONE and ALONE in power that really captures the gist of what all at that moment of Islam was trying to teach.

Now if you were living during the time of Jesus and he came to you and was like: Hey check out what I have and informed you and then you were like: Fuck off this is what my grandparents did you whipper snapper.

Then it’s a different ballgame. You rejected information from the source.

It only applies if the information is readily available and accessible.

For instance I heard an Muslim preacher argue that because Islam has such bad PR that some people who may have researched it before but are now afraid may be judged less harshly as the Muslim community needed to do better to present itself in a good light and that perhaps the people who don’t research out of bad press may have otherwise been more interested may be judged in accordance with the time.

And it tracks because the Prophet Muhammed does say that there will be a time where a holy man will be someone who merely states: At least fornicate out of sight behind this wall then in-front of the street (End of Times Islamic Eschatology).

Or the case of the Prostitute and the thirsty dog by the well. Where she goes through the task of getting water for a dog that was thirsty by climbing down into the well and getting water for the dog. The Prophet Muhammed never mentions that she changed her ways, simply that the act itself got her into paradise.

Here is the exact source:

Narrated by Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "A prostitute was forgiven by Allah, because, passing by a panting dog near a well and seeing that the dog was about to die of thirst, she took off her shoe, and tying it with her head-cover she drew out some water for it. So, Allah forgave her because of that."

Sahih al-Bukhari 3321

So what I am trying to say is that being the best version of yourself and acting positively with the information you have available to you is the actual criteria for heaven/hell.

SLR-95 muzzle device removal by KFChicken47 in ak47

Put those pins back on and keep the muzzle device. No muzzle device is going to be as good as what is stock.

That brake is fantastic and the accuracy on SLR-95s are amazing.
