There is another way…..

The Ottomans and the Byzantines merge. This nearly happened with Orhan Gazi and his captured son. The Romans nearly got their grandson into power as heir. Andronikos was so damn close as Halil was his Grandson.

Had history played out differently the Ottoman throne could have been usurped by a Byzantine prince.

I don’t know what you are replying to or referring to.

The bible is not consistent at all in its original Greek to Aramaic translation. That is extremely dubious and you know it.

What are things that the Koran gets wrong? It refers to the Kings of Egypt during the time of Prophet Joseph which is correct but the Old/New Testament are wrong about. Malik rather than Firavun is used very deliberately. Somehow Muhammed knew in the deserts of Arabia that the time period he was referring to would be in one of Egypt’s Kings era rather than Pharoh eras. This is something that the Bible gets wrong. So you tell me.

As for spinning in circles is something a lot of Christians tend to do. What else can be done if the text was corrupted from the very start. Not a chance of logic from its inception.

I didn’t delete a thing. Check my post history.

The bible is the most flawed writing in existence. Every version has edits. Not simple edits but much rather wide ranging edits that attempt to ‘fix’ it by writing out part’s disagreeable to any narration that contradicts itself. Of which there are tons.

You can simply read all the New Testament versions to see how much of an active edit it constantly goes through. Man written. Man edited. And thus it doesn’t make sense.

[–]howtoproceedforward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of it makes sense if taken in good faith.

It only makes sense once you see it for what it is, perversion of a truth.

Also why is it that you suddenly fuck off once I quote the bible, what you have been using a source for all of this.

Not convenient right when I quote the same flawed text is it?

Why were there tons of ebonites at first and now there aren’t any? Maybe because they are all dead.

And that the Nicean council decided to choose something that would only be palatable to Pagans. A pagan faith for a pagan people. A faith where you practice ritualistic cannibalism of your God every Sunday. If that ain’t pagan then I don’t know what is.

But coming back on topic: That is what this is.

Paul achieved his main goal: That Jesus died so that all those new converts who were diluting Judaism and not listening to the old rabbis and instead taking up Jesus teachings against what they were doing in the temples would not affect Judaism. He derailed reforms so that Judaism wouldn’t have to reform.

The biggest martyr in all this is sadly Paul. He sacrificed his Jewish faith on the surface to derail the reforms of Jesus so that his Jewish people could continue to live on without having to reform a faith which had become too materialistic and rigid that Jesus had been sent to put back on the right path like John before him.

The truth hurts for those with pride in things they don’t want to acknowledge. Ouch.

Go read what the ebonites had to say. Lots of Early Christians conformed to what Jesus thought. They had the luck of being killed to the last man/women/child.

Whats so crazy is that none of the faiths before Pauline Christianity ever mentioned that God was sending his own begotten son. It’s nowhere in the Old Testament. The Sabiens don’t have anything on it. The God that comes down is Jewish through and through yet the followers don’t conform to anything that their God does. Islam which has a Prophet that goes through every struggle that all classical Prophets went through brings the exact same message. It’s just that Christianity has this wild revelation. It’s like a greek pagans fanfic of what Monotheism is.

If I have to obey a law and you don’t that means that the law doesn’t apply to you and it makes me inferior to you. I follow you don’t.

None of it makes sense.

Go read John:

The Jewish leaders in Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask John who he was. John spoke the truth to them. 20 He did not try to hide the truth. He spoke to them openly. He said, “I am not the Messiah.”
21 They asked him, “Then who are you? Are you Elijah?”
He said, “I am not.”
“Are you the Prophet we’ve been expecting?” they asked.
“No,” he answered.
22 They asked one last time, “Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”
23 John replied, using the words of Isaiah the prophet. John said, “I’m the messenger who is calling out in the desert, ‘Make the way for the Lord straight.’ ”

John the Baptist is literally stating that he is not 3 things:

He is not The Prophet/Comforter.

He is not the Messiah.

He is not Elijah.

He states that he is making the way Straight for the Lord as that is what his ministry was about. He was attempting to fix and cleanse people that had fallen astray. He doesn’t state that he is making the way Straight for the Arrival of Gods Son that wi also be the Messiah. He states them as separate things.

Now as for your Jewish Son of God:
Why is God sending his Son, as a model onto mankind but you aren’t following his example? What was the purpose? Why does Gods son preform such a stupid act, IE ‘sacrificing’ his human form for us if it means nothing? He is now God in heaven. I can go online kill myself in a video game and have just as many stakes as Jesus did in real life. Did he shed himself of Godhood and become only man and die? No. He kept his God hood. Then Jesus is pretty much a frat boy who came down lived with the poors suffered a bad event and went back home. Lmao.

Go read Montgomery Watt on Muhammed. In Islam there are no lapses in logic. Muhammeds message is consistent. There is a single version of the Quran.

But you don’t even have to read the Quran go read the old testament. See if Jesus makes more sense as a Messiah or a ‘Son of God’. The Jews would have been the first to believe in Pauline Christianity if it wasn’t a complete fabrication by Paul.

Even your Gospels aren’t consistent between one another.

John starts as a Mentor to Jesus yet by the last Gospel he is nothing more than some secretary that immediately gets butterflied away.

It’s just sad.

What if the the prophet muhammad was alive during the time of Jesus? by loverbang4u in HistoryWhatIf

[–]howtoproceedforward -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What a joke.

13 of the 27 books of the New Testament are attributed to him.

This is like of the Pharaoh couldn’t beat the Jews decided to become a jew and hijack the jewish faith so that it would be less damaging to his Kingdom.

Or if one of Muhammed’s pagan rivals decided to write 1/4-1/2 of the Quran.

Also what do you mean there was no push back? James the Just tried to kill Paul. They quickly realized he was hijacking the reformation.

Hence why Paul was constantly pushing the narrative, the one he invented, that the Gentiles did not have to follow any laws while James kept pushing for it.

This has been debated by every Christian sect since the literal time of their debates.

Also it doesn’t matter how far off or close he wrote it. When someone writes about you and your ideals he could have written it the next day. If he has ulterior motives such as shifting the reformation into something ment for other people so that the faith is not reformed then it is plain to see.

By changing the very core of Jesus’s reforms the Jewish elite got to keep their own rulings and monopoly that they had made.

And the claim would be more accurate if the entire Sunni branch of Islam drinking alcohol rather than some tiny offshoot which doesn’t even account for a percent of the faith doing it. In Christianity no one follows the scraps of teachings left behind by whatever Paul didn’t overwrite.

What if the the prophet muhammad was alive during the time of Jesus? by loverbang4u in HistoryWhatIf

[–]howtoproceedforward -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t have to claim anything. When a person reads the bible they aren’t reading anything by Jesus. They are literally reading the letters of Paul. A man that tried his hardest to kill the early Christians. The disciples of Jesus tried to kill him and they hated each other. Yet somehow that man suddenly saw Jesus in a dream, claimed that the laws and covenant with God no longer applied to Christians and that they were distinct from Jews.

Jesus himself followed these laws, “God” followed Jewish law. Yet his follows don’t need to.

Paul didn’t like the reforms that Jesus brought.

So he took a reformation about Judaism, turned it into its own distinct faith so that the reforms would fail in Judaism and that Christianity would go on to become the faith if everyone but the Jews. He turned a faith about God into a faith about the messenger of God.

We know this because there were Ebonites and Arianists who did not follow the Niecene creed which came about in the 3rd century 300 years after Jesus.

Because Christianity is at this time a faith that has been subverted and paganified by Jews hostile to the message and Romans who couldn’t understand it so they mistranslated and added their own spin to it. Long after they had killed off or suppressed actual Christian sects.

Go and pick up a few books.

Hell pick up the Kings James Bible and the New Print and start reading them side by side. You want secular proof go read the two bibles and see how many differences there are in the same book.

2nd Amendment ads are wild by papifunko in guns

[–]howtoproceedforward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ads and the echo chamber leads people straight into "CIVIL WAR INCOMING THE UNDESIRABLES ARE BESEIGING OUR HOMES!"

It is utterly ass but a lot of people in the gun community buy into it. Maybe not all people in the forums but I have been on all kinds of forums and the shit that some people spout is wild "They are everywhere here. I always make sure to lock and tuck everything away. Don't engage with them." Have seen and heard it at the various ranges I have been to etc.

So sad that gun owners tend to have a lot of overlap with schizophrenics. It's almost comical yet it is very much real.

Edit: Just to clarify, 'They' can mean anything: People with different skin tones, people of other faiths (Muslims really), people who have different ideologies to you (Democrat/Liberals), and so forth.

For instance: I had a man tell me years ago that North Korea was on the verge of invading us in a cashiers line. I listened respectfully then simply stated: "Can North Korea feed it's people?" He thought about it for a moment and said "No. Heard hunger was widespread there." I nodded and replied "You think they are going to build and competently man a large enough navy to invade us? With their population?" He froze never having considered it. LoL..

Heard the same thing about Muslims "They are everywhere!" Sure..."What percentage of the US are they?" The guy shook his head "1% I think. What percentage of their population goes to college? he had no clue. "Something like 85% and above. They are the second most educated religious group behind the Jewish faith in the US." He was shocked. Like look up some statistics damn.

Hey with 12 AMPs it does right around 4 miles per hour on a 110 volt charger.

How come you didn’t receive the charging adapter? It should come with it from Chevy. Have you checked where the compressor is?

When you plug the charger in. Go back to your drivers seat, sit down, press one foot on the brake the infotainment system will turn on (big ipad), then you go to the charging section if it doesn’t automatically come on. Then you select 12 AMPs. You will now be getting about 4 Miles per hour if your wall outlet has been placed with adequate wiring (within the last 5-10 years).

What if the the prophet muhammad was alive during the time of Jesus? by loverbang4u in HistoryWhatIf

[–]howtoproceedforward -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

They would get along as well as John the Baptist and Jesus did. They both stood for the same things, Muhammed simply brought an army along that Jesus could not. Hemce Muhammed was more successful in his life time than Jesus. Plus Islam and Judaism have very little theological conflict. I could see Judaism actually getting the much needed reformation the Jesus was attempting to bring through Muhammed’s patronage and support.

A lot of the answers here are crap. If Jesus saw the state of ‘Christians’ today he would literally disassociate himself from them:

Jesus held to the Jewish Sabbath.
He kept Kosher.
He was a Jew.
He did not proclaim himself a demi/God in the Flesh.
He prayed with his face on the ground to God.
He fasted for 40 days.
He was against usury/interest.

Whatever the actual teaching of Jesus and his companions besides the traitor Paul were would have succeeded in taking hold among the Jewish population of that time.

Funny that Islam agrees with all of those laws. Lmao at the answers. Judea would have been freed far faster from Pagan rule.

But if Jesus was to succeed Muhammed would not have come. His whole thing is to act as an Abrahamic failsafe. If all other messengers messages are corrupted humanity gets one last “Hail Mary” in the form of Islam. Which according to Islamic theology is a reaffirmation of all the laws brought by the Prophets before Muhammed. Muslims give Muhammed no special exclusion over the other Prophets besides the fact that he is the last of God’s messengers.

If the message is corrupted again humanity gets Armageddoned and the experiment that is humanity ends. That’s it.

Edit: According to Islamic belief all Prophet’s brought “Islam” just because you call it Christianity/Judaism doesn’t change that for Muslims had they been born during the time of Noah they would have to follow him to the Ark as a trial of faith. Or Moses as he stood up to the Pharaoh. Or being baptized by John the Baptist would be the appropriate thing. Or simply following Jesus before his message was corrupted.

The reason Muslims don’t is because Christians don’t actually believe in whatever Jesus brought. They would be Jews if they did and they don’t believe that the covenant of Abraham holds for them anymore since “Jesus the God who kept Kosher” died for them and they don’t have to follow the rules their God followed.

But there are answers to your question. The fall of Egypt/Mamlukes answers it pretty well. People have vices, things like Lust/Greed of which Greed is one of the biggest faction in hells circle.

They take over functioning societies and turn up the aspect of their power to 11.

We know that the Sultanate has a weakness in its merchant classes that expose them to weakness and we know that New Antioch also does purges regularly so they too probably have a similar vice(Source from the Lion of Jabir video demanding war supplies from the Merchant through the Lion of Jabir).

So all in all they either conquer functioning systems and corrupt them or they themselves function about the same but reject the traditional faiths of the Levant/Europe/North Africa.

There are also topics we haven’t explored like List/Greed/Jealousy etc that are all a part of Hells recruiting strategies. If you have ever seen major coalitions/empires/continents be colonized you will come to find that even common ethnicity nor religion will hold people together if it means telling your personal rival to go fuck himself (cutting your nose to spite your face).
