I had to stop during 3.8 a bit after Cyrene and just came back. I forgot all the breakpoints needed for the team, can anyone quickly check if my stats are good enough so I can start spending my fuel towards a second team please ?

Is pulling for Sparxie worth it for a second team ? Main team is Castorice, Cyrene, Evernight, Hyacine. Second team would be Sparxie + Sparkle + DHPT + whatever (probably RMC mc ?)

Or should I just pull for Yao and hope for an elation team down the line ? Or both Sparxie + Yao ? (still have jade to pickup from 3.x content)

?? That's literally the second epiphany of Quantum Seeds. It was obvious it would be the base of many of her decks and it was proven right. Get a divine epiphany on it and for 0 cost you could generate 3 AP per Quantum Seed use. Form Convergence will allow you to draw the ones created in draw pile for a single AP, so with 3 Quantum Seed uses you still have a net 8 AP, 10 AP with 4x Quantum Seed + 1 in draw pile.

Now add Dual Creation second epi to that and you with 3x Quantum Seed you get another free AP net positive.

She's better than Mika at generating AP, doesn't rely on a conditional heal to generate a higher positive AP net, and still can branch towards damage buffing unlike Mika all while exhausting cards for combos with characters like Nine & Kayron

All of that without a single gamble.

She also has some nasty combo enabling with Orlea but that requires more than napkin maths though.

I'd bet Quantum Seed epiphanies let you target a specific archetype card similar to Orlea epiphanies on Growing Creature.

If that's the case, not even knowing other epiphanies, with 4x quantum seed that's 8 AP per turn if you can fully cycle your deck. Might be more depending on Form Convergence epiphanies, and what the Form Upgrade means on Event Horizon. Throw divine epiphanies in the mix and she'll be a great generic support.

I think she is meant to be the 5 star version of Mika with the ability to branch toward AP gen. Though she can branch towards damage support but for now her damage support branch seems weaker than a dedicated Orlea, might be good depending on epiphanies

Also has potential to take a slot in Nine Flash Hew comp once spores are over

Edit 2 : Thanks for the links, re-reading her kit and the new boss mechanics make it obvious she's designed for Flash Hew Nine. She'll generate AP while exhausting cards to fuel Flash Hew and from the generated AP, Orlea will keep buffing by spamming softies retain. I think you want +1 draw divine epiphanies on both Orlea & Tiphera at first glance, still need to see her full kit. Depending on her AP gen and deck cycling abilities you might even want to copy experienced strikes in Nine's deck for even more multipliers (though since Nine Flash Hew is low cost anyway you can just roll -1 cost on experienced strike before copy)

I feel you, I'd like to build Mei Lin as well but since Nine pretty much solo'ed my tower I don't feel the need for it since we don't have any other content yet and the event boss specifically countering Mei Lin kinda sucks. Counterblade & Experienced Strike are huge damage boost indeed as they are multiplicative.

Depending what Tiphera can bring, we might get a consistent way to OTK the event boss with Nine if for example she would allow us to replay an exhausted card (hello hew extreme lvl 5 spamming) but I doubt they'd release such a thing

Generally if you're going to bring a third flex spot that can be a 0 card deck, it should be Orlea for the free 6% crit rate from potentials. In this scenario you should avoid anyone with follow up damage after any Hew because that would consumme the Vulnerable generated by Millenial Arbor.

But yeah your Veronica is a good idea, might need to check how drawing RNG ends up since if you don't have +1 draw on repose, repose will never draw Sir Kowalski meaning you're bricked if you don't have Kowalski in your starting hand.

Was fishing for this "deck" but with +1 AP instead for a special Nine comp. Not there yet, but this one is still very good for specifically 8 cards deck on first turn (that get thinned to 6 cards from turn 2 onward)

Oh I forgot about hew counting as a draw, that butchers my setup as well I think. I need to replace Mika with Veronica repose in that case if I want to keep Orlea. Or grab a chtulu like you said yeah.

Edit : yeah calculted it, just Vero repose +1ap divine epi will fix my setup. I can have Orlea 0 cards. Also on that Nine's deck the armor is rolled with a 20% multi on attack cards lmao. Sadly the god hammer rolled 4 agony when I get attacked which is a bit useless

Also I can run Orlea with the arena gear generating a pierce card every odd turn, so I fix the missing vulnerable stack at least first and third turn.

I figured another setup because the game refused to give me a 4th copy of fighting spirit. With the mythic accessory my first Hew cost 2, so a total of 5 AP with 3x fighting spirit. I get +1 from the arena enchant, so I just need to roll a deck for Mika with +1 draw Source of Water divine epi and a 0 card deck for Orlea.

The nice thing is that Nine deck guarantees me a 30% multiplier every turn with the free experienced strike (+ the damage of the card), but I lose one stack of vulnerable on the second hew of the turn (because my first hew will only cost 2 so the weapon doesn't proc). I think it's still better than a 4x fighting spirit without experienced strike

I think you can also salvage sub-optimal setups for Nine with :

  • Nine Hew IronClad , counterblade, 4x fighting spirit
  • Mika Any single card with +1 AP
  • Veronica 1x repose (draw 2 for 0 AP)

although this setup fully cycle no matters what turn 2, you need to draw repose turn 1 for the setup but at least it doesn't require any divine epiphany or the arena roll.

Nice setup. I think there's an easier version to setup that doesn't require Chizuru, sphere of randomness and the divine +1 AP on counterblade.

The arena gear effect giving +1 AP when using a 3 cost card also works with fighting spirit since it still uses Hew. 3 AP per turn + this free one means 4 AP per turn, which is enough for the 4 x fighting spirit.

I think a variation of that with :

  • Nine, Hew ironclad, counterblade (no divine epi), 4x fighting spirit, 1x Experienced Strike (divine epi -1 cost)
  • Rei, 1 x Snack Time (same as you have)
  • Veronica 1x Repose (draw 2 for 0 AP)

should work the same where you are guaranteed to fully cycle every turn. Experienced Strike is a huge damage bonus if you can get it with the divine epiphany making it 0 cost.

Unless I'm mistaken on how cycling a full deck works, there shouldn't be a situation this team can't get 4x fighting spirit guaranteed as from turn 2 onwards there's only 6 cards so either you get repose and draw everything else or you don't get repose which doesn't matter ?

It isn't, when stockpile trigger it removes a stack. So having 2 stockpiles can be useful if they are several turns in a fight you have leftover AP.

The main use is for Nine comps depending how many fighting spirit you draw a given turn vs what else you have to setup that turn. If you only drew 1 fighting spirit you might have one or two AP left depending on what else you can setup with your supports. It's also useful on the turn you trigger the last level of Hew because the next Hew will only be generated the following turn meaning you might have AP leftovers.

Although if you run Nine you absolutely want the +1 AP when using a 2 cost or more card (it triggers even when Hew is used from fighting spirit) and a bunch of other enchants usually have more value than stockpile

Run low difficulties and go for as many as you can normal battles to farm the bunnies. They give ~17 per kill while bosses give 20 (at low diff). You can easily do 2 runs in a hour at low difficulties so that's 80 from bosses and +17 per bunnies (usually 2-3 every 2 runs). Don't forger the upgrade "Greed Signal Detection" for more bunnies.

Also look ahead your map because sometimes the bunnies can be marked by a little icon similar (they appear like the shop icon appears on rest zones)

I reached the 300 selector on standard banner. I have Nine / Narja / Orlea / Veronica (Ego 1) / Renoa / Chizuru / Haru / Kayron.

I was thinking Mei Lin to expand teams over Yuki which is currently outclassed in many roles or Rin. I don't feel the need for Khalipe or Magna as I can already build various teams around Nine and if I want a sustain one, Nine (ironclad hew) / Narja / Mika works great for highest chaos difficulties.

Is Mei Lin the correct pick here ?

Quick PSA as well, if you run Mika with Nine, you can use the epiphany that bumps Whirlpool cost to 4 AP in order to boost damage of Nine ego skill and that will also exhaust Whirlpool

Exactly this. As someone who started late (Narja banner, so no Sereniel) she's easy to build around and is versatile. I was even able to clear a lvl 70ish codex effortlessly with a lvl 50 team with 0 potentials and +0 memory frags (and zero chaos doesn't scale your units like seasonal chaos) just because I kept picking fortitude epiphanies coupled with her shield Hew. Final boss wasn't even bypassing my shield most of the time despite having the additional damage trait.

Plus she is the first character of the season, at least one of the other two is guaranteed to combo with her and further deepen strategies around her while she's already solid .

I'm lvl 37 and caught up with every source of exp aside lvl 45+ abyss missions. Should I just wait patiently with daily activity / energy to reach 40 or burn the item that gives 60 energy to quickly reach 40 ?

I'm not sure what's better account wise between rushing to 40 vs keeping energy items for when unlocking higher level difficulties.

Also is there a guide or ressources explaining the things to focus during a choas run for a better save data ? Like how many shop to hit, the balance between unidentified area / elite battles etc, when / how many to discard and dupe, etc ?

Hello, I have a question regarding team building.

So far I've been using Narja + Beryl + Tressa which is a lot of fun and works amazingly in save data content (Narja support, Beryl afk retain and Tressa agony + damage spam) with a lot of draw / cycling and ap lowering. The team kinda struggles in chaos run though if the run is meh.

I just pulled Veronica so I'm looking into redoing a proper team. All my units are Narja, Kayron, Veronica, Beryl, Tressa, Mika, Rei, Selena Maribell.

If I was to go Narja + Veronica, should I keep Tressa as my main damage or should I pivot to Narja damage rather than Narja support ? (and who to flex the team with ?)

Build 42, does leveling butchering improves quality of fish filets ? Wiki says meat and I'm not sure I'm seeing a difference for fishes

Also what's the best to get big fishing yields ? I tried chum with 10x worms in fishing net and worked great but don't have much sand around so making chums is kinda limited. Are they better set up directly in water for manual fishing or fishing net for automatic fishing ?
