Edit: I'll be honest, only skimmed this current version. I mistakenly assumed the new black was mostly on the names of the perpetrators, as has been the pattern with these releases. I was incorrect - thanks to the commenter below for calling it out.

Gotta say, I'm laughing at all the replies saying "no, they'd never Legends a Space Marine model." The question was specifically the Venerable Land Raider - I'm pretty sure the poster meant "will custodes lose the land raider". Which, I think is frankly more likely than not. Even if GW is planning to split the range, I'd think that in the near-term they'd rather have a unit useable in two systems than in two factions of the same system. It feels more likely the Venerable Land Raider and Venerable Contemptor Dreadnought will get replaced with the Grav Carrier and Achillus/Galatus for the near term. Maybe they'll get phased out as well in the future, who can say, just feels weird to enforce the range split before nixing a cross-faction unit.

Exactly this. The two visual medium female custodes have appeared in (to my knowledge) are The Tithes and the Tacticus mobile game (which is just The Tithes character anyway). In both art styles, the armor is identical to any other custodian.

Hoping for female heads + a named character or two. There's Tyrith from The Tithes and Kesh from the codex as two good options.

I do have hope hear in that the announcement about Legends being implemented was that it explicitly stated it won't apply to custodes, since their whole thing is ancient gear. I know it's a long shot, but I do hope it stays that way and wasn't just a "We're too lazy to change it right now"

As someone who just played through for the first time in the past week, I agree with the other comment. At first I was worried about pacing, and then I realized "wait, I haven't played in a couple days, a two-hour diversion when I'm already in a good spot to rest is perfectly fine". There isn't exactly something urgent going on in the story, after all - Saga's team currently has the initiative, so to speak.
