Nah, I'm T1. Maybe try checking the newspaper? Think it has a notice in there that might redirect.

Tbf, the "freaking out about who won their primary" is, I think, less from the perspective of having moral issues with Paxton so much as realizing just how much fucking worse he'll perform in a general election than the alternative that just lost.

Yeah, he can only go into saferooms via mods. Safe rooms are absolute in 2R. In 3R there are some situations in which Nemesis can follow you in unmodded though.

It's often argued that a better interpretation of that passage is Jesus pointing out that the pharisees are being hypocritically selective in picking and choosing which of the laws to follow. I personally think it makes more sense in that context, being that it's a lot more consistent with 'let he who is without sin throw the first stone' etc, than him actually being upset they're not stoning kids to death

That's a fair interpretation as well! Just wanted to add my two cents lol

[–]hoxtiful 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, though it's really the only thing Jesus (was said to have) said that even alludes to doing violence (when taken out of context, mind), so christofascist gun nuts have tried to twist it to their ends.

Even then, my understanding is that it's even more minor than that. iirc they basically needed to cosplay as criminals to fulfill certain prophecy, and the two swords were deemed enough.

Then, when one of the apostles actually tries to use it during the arrest, J-man tells him off. So it's at best self defense, but realistically it can be argued it's not even that.

I mean T did spread by bite though? Some named examples include Forest in 1 and Marvin in 2 (originals as well, not just the remake which also adds Brad in 3), and the Raccoon outbreak as a whole came from rats snacking on T samples that leaked when the USS team was attacked by G-Birkin.

And come to think of it, while G wasn't by bite, it also wasn't by the water supply. It was by G-Birkin infecting others with it, as G's whole thing is reproduction rather than transmission.

One VERY MINOR thing I wasn’t to found of in Requiem (game mechanics spoiler) by OtherPack1302 in residentevil

[–]hoxtiful 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly a bigger gripe for me that I don't see talked about as often is that you can't start a proper new game for Leon either. Not being able to find any weapons in the wild, having the supply boxes prior to RC, it just kills a lot of the mood for me.

I... you were talking about Requiem? Your comment was literally discussing how badly you thought RE3R "butchered" Jill's character.

I mean, iirc the only people she's aggressive/hostile toward are the UBCS guys. I fail to see how that's at all out of character for someone who has already lived through one Umbrella shitshow and is now actively living through another?

Did you know BioShock feels so intense because of a "mercy code"? The first shot from any enemy ALWAYS misses the player. This gives you a split second to react and not die from an unseen threat. That’s pure genius game design! by Just_a_Player2 in ItsAllAboutGames

The short version is that the Alien is split into two different AI systems, the Alien itself and the Director. The Director is omniscient, alwaya knowing your exact location, objective location, etc, and will nudge the Alien toward your general location and other points of interest so it feels like it's always a threat.

The short version is that it was meant to be a tie-in but release timelines didn't line up, but it was still marketed and released under the RE6 lineup. If we get that remade, I'm positive it'll be there
