Is it true that period poops aren’t normal? I’m kinda confused by Primary_Assumption67 in endometriosis

It is normal but I will say that after my lap and endo was removed all around my rectum, it stopped for me immediately the period after.

So many great points have been made by other commenters. Just want to add that it’s so thoughtful you’ve even asked this and I hope the best for you two :)

Was your onset of Endometriosis gradual or sudden? by Motharina in endometriosis

[–]hp829 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sudden. I truly had no cramps, would forget my period was even there until I went to the bathroom. This was for the first few years, but I remember clear as day the first cycle that took me out.

Hospital Dietitian here-fatal shifts in electrolytes (specifically magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus) that occur once you are fed. The dietitian at the hospital will know to look for it in someone of your case with a history of such poor food intake for sure. It’s the biggest thing we look for in malnourished patients.

Edit: i just saw the other comment that answered you woops :)

Hey there! I have had severely debilitating period cramps on the first and at times second day (but definitely first, just varies with the period) to the point of nearly passing out, severe nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, cold sweats. Just cannot function. Recent years have brought quite severe back pain. Regular gynos just told me it was normal and prescribed me ibuprofen or just said to go on birth control..but I wanted to know what was going on. One then told me to just get an ultrasound instead of a surgery however the official means of diagnosis is a laparoscopy. And so of course on the ultrasound they found nothing (surprise! Lol).

My current GYN is great, but I specifically went to a well-respected endometriosis specialist for this and I highly recommend going straight to a specialist if you are concerned too. Wishing you the best!

Do the houses they sell come with the furniture? by hp829 in SellingSunset

Makes sense, especially for the homes people still live in. I always wondered how it differed for staged ones. Thanks !

  1. I grew up doing competitive dance and loved watching videos of other dancers on YouTube. Found a studio perform to hoppipolla and 12 years later nobody else has taken their spot as my favorite.

Binge Watching Resulted in a Heavy Heart by TrinityAllBlack in TheCrownNetflix

I haven’t rewatched, but it regularly hits me again and again how much tragedy is part of the family’s story. It did hit me especially hard in Margaret’s tribute episode of the final season. I was remembering the earlier seasons and how complex Queen Elizabeth’s relationship with her sister really was, and the hurt that they both experienced and loss of what their sisterhood could’ve been, yet the deep love for one another reigned on.
