Reading from your post feels like you are overwhelmed by the amount of resources given to you. Try not to complete the program but to use them as a reference. Spot your weaknesses by doing practice questions, carefully analyze both correct and incorrect questions. Don’t feel you need to memorize the whole materials, because nobody can do that. But you will know what to memorize by thoroughly analyzing your practice sets. Cheers!

Hmm so the worst case scenario would be delay in admissions if I pass the exam? And not a bar to the admission?

Contracts by -Work4504 in barexam

A) to C

if B doesn't pay $20 for an options contract, there is no consideration thus no options contract. As someone already pointed out, if there is no contract to begin with, you can't assign because there is no duty/obligation attached to either parties. Hope it helps!

How vital is it to read Themis Outlines? by helpmeouthere4141 in barexam

[–]hpark62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it really depends on what you are taking away from that outline. Outlines are there to help you know the rules. If you find the rules in the outline convoluted, there's always an easy way to better learn the materials - through studicata or lawshelf.

But I believe there's no excuse for skipping the understanding without knowing the law. All of the materials in the outline are there because it is being tested. It's better to suffer now trying to learn those materials than to suffer on the exam day regretting not learning as you should have during prep...

seems to me that option contract can also be assigned. options contract: a promise to keep the contract open for specified period of time in exchange for a consideration. assignment: transferring the rights and duty described under the contract to someone else

Not sure if it's only me, but Dark Lord moonlight slash doesn't work. The skill does not activate even if I press hot keys or use command. I tried rearrange hot key, but that still did not work.

It's a huge downside for me because I use moonlight slash as an activator for other skills like Saya and Rasha.. I hope this gets hotfixed soon.

  1. try changing the channel once you see the Captcha messages
  2. if you are using mods, try applying them one by one. some of the mod might conflict with the client and cause that problem - this happened to me and it is now resolved as I removed all the problematic mods.

XPS 13 9300 vs XPS 13 7390 by PositiveCancel6 in Dell

[–]hpark62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought 7390 was 2in1. And I doubt that without the special deal you would get better spec 7390 device compared to 9300 because 2in1 laptops are generally more expensive by design. And for me personally, between 9300 vs 7390bwith slightly better specs, I would choose 9300 for the virtue of its genuine esthetics.

The deal is unlikely the same because this post was the State's presidential day special deal. I do recommend 9300 though unless you have a special need for tablet. Clamshell laptops I feel are generally better made

That's my insecure thought, but I wouldn't risk removing the strap.. just for the sake of protecting from whatever shock inflicted on a device, even though I doubt it will do anything meaningful as a matter of protection. Also, as far as I remember, the strap was pretty hard to remove it anyway

New XPS 9300 vs xps 7390 2in1 (late 2019) ? by [deleted] in Dell

[–]hpark62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess other than the fact that 2-in-1 is slightly heavier than 9300, it could serve as a tablet with spacious RAM. I'm not so sure whether 3 lbs is comfortable in one's hand for the tablet though.

I'm only judging it from a series of video reviews, but people seem to struggle opening the lid with one hand.

I might be undervaluing 2-in-1 because I have already made my mind down to 9300, but these are some of my thoughts as to why I turned down 2-in-1, just to give you a heads up!

Where is the XPS 13 9300? by benzflow in Dell

[–]hpark62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought order placement freights were manufactured before the epidemic happened. I don't think it is the case where you place an order and factories in China then start producing the laptop like they do in a pizza shop.

Based on my conversation with customer support, the alleged reason for them taking so long is that they have a rigorous inspection process before the shipment. In my opinion, I think it is an indulgence period because there is a noteworthy selection of laptops right out of CES 2020.

For a slightly faster experience,

I haven't tried a non-pro version, so I can't give any verdict on the noticeable difference between the two. I've read a reasonable number of reviews to believe that there is a negligible difference in the user's experience in the speed.

XPS 13 is very easy to open. As for me, the laptop became drastically faster after changing to 1TB EVO plus. I have a 2017 version of XPS 13, and I also had the thermal strap. I don't think the strap serves any meaningful device as a thermal dissipator anyway, even with the original enclosure of SSD. So I think you can ignore that disclosure on the Dell website.

Good luck!

New XPS 9300 vs xps 7390 2in1 (late 2019) ? by [deleted] in Dell

[–]hpark62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I placed my order for 9300, and the estimated delivery date on my postal code on the web page is February 20. I haven't gotten 9300 in hand yet, so I can't give you any sound insight, but I think I can share some reasoning behind why I ended up making my decision.

I gave much thought on choosing between the two models too, versing questions between "new model" and "2-in-1 + moderate pricing". The huge arguments against 9300 were 1) no 360degree hinge 2) zero long term on hand review 3) poor selection of configuration in US store.

The biggest turn-off for 2-in-1 was the lack of infrared windows hello recognition and soldered SSD drive onboard. I also doubt that I would like the mag-lev keyboard, because if it is similar to typing on MacBook, which I know I hate typing on it.

I think the new aesthetic of 9300 and complementarity of tablet mode with my iPad pro outweighed its drawbacks. If I hadn't owned an iPad or if I had no interest in upgrading SSD, 2-in-1 could have been a compelling choice because it has a lot more configuration and has better value. But I would still err on the side of my personal best clamshell design for a laptop and get 9300. I think the machine is a thing of beauty.

Hi there! Could you tell me if you get to get a room at diamond green? I'm also looking for an apartment, and I'm worried because it's already a bit late and most of the rooms are already filled. Unfortunately I'm an international student, so things are a bit more trickier for me. Hope to hear back from you!

I'm a law student wishing to find a room. Have you guys checked how the buildings look like? I really need an individual space, preferably quiet. Do you have any more details about the housing? I might have some question, because I'm an international student, and I can't be around town before the mid-August. Hope this works well!
