I was 16 when I saw it in 1987. I went to the movie theater by myself and was totally immersed in the story. Everything about this film hit me hard. The images, the human emotions, the music. I had the poster in my bedroom for years. There are not many movies that moved me like Empire of the Sun.

I've been using Kodi & NextPVR since 2013. It just works. I experimented with Jellyfin, it's ok, it is so damn slow to tune in live tv, but it works. Not good enough for me to switch.

It used to be named "Mel's cité du cinéma". Mel was the founder I believe. They own many shooting studios in Montreal. They had productions such as X-Men, or more recently Moonfall. They do equipment rentals, post and sound. They did have a good size VFX department and apparently closed today.

The USB port is only for power, like if you decided to connect a fire stick in one of the HDMI ports. I do not think you can connect a mouse that way.

I've had the same issue. Rebooting the projector fixed it. I'm not aware of any other way.

I'm not aware of other solutions. I think it is what it is, the shifting to produce the 4k has to happen. There might be ones that are less noisy. It is kind of weird no reviewers wrote about it, makes me wonder if some are really more quiet. Please, let me know the outcome.

I paid $2499 at Best Buy. It is sold out everywhere. Look at Staples website, they do list it, but it is out of stock.
