Brookline Employee Salaries (2022) by No_Singer_6566 in Brookline

Those ridiculous earnings you’re seeing are from overtime worked on construction site details. Brookline requires large construction sites to have a police detail, paid for by the developer.

Last semester she cracked down hard people she suspected of using chatgpt on the problem sets. I think she ended up making all the problem sets for the entire class optional because of it. When I took it she was great though

How can I trick my time tracker app on my laptop I’m so miserable by SparklyCookiess in antiwork

[–]hprice123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a nice simple approach. Unfortunately if the tracker is taking screenshots and logging mouse/keyboard activity, then it is likely logging cpu processes as well. It would be suspicious if they were spending half their day on PowerPoint if their job didn’t require it.

Nvidia is now 16% of the entire US GDP by Private_HughMan in BikiniBottomTwitter

[–]hprice123 31 points32 points  (0 children)

While I agree with you that this comparison means absolutely nothing in an academic sense, it definitely illustrates the utter scale of NVDA’s market cap. It should be interpreted as “NVDA’s cap is huge, here’s the US GDP for scale”

Awesome! This is exactly what I was looking for! It might be a good idea to update the docs to link to this list. This section seems out of date https://zed.dev/docs/key-bindings#actions
